Fun fact, the ending where you beat Maruki isn’t called the good ending or the true end. It’s called return ending and living. His reality is called Stay ending .
That’s because there is no canon choice joker would make it’s up to the player

Exactly, that's why Maruki works so well as an antagonist. If they accept his reality, that means they learned nothing from the Yaldabaoth confrontation.

If we look closer, every antagonist in persona series, have a desire to change the world, but only Maruki really wish happiness to whole humanity. Sadly trough his distorted desires

Good Intentions or Not Maruki is no Different from any other Enemies The Thieves Fought. It Pisses me off people actually think he is right and did nothing wrong. Worse he got off easy.
