Yes bro you can use caddy for long time as you want. There is no problem to use caddy in your laptop. I use it since 3 years But no problem faced.

Which SSD type will fit in this laptop and max That can be installed.did you install hdd or SSD.ram 4 gb is there can we increase to 8 gb.
Yes i install ssd or hdd in this laptop. I use two hard drive at a time in it. The main hard drive i use ssd 2.5 inch and second simple hdd. You can use Hdd/ssd-caddy as a second hard drive . Caddy fit in the place of CD/DVD-ROM. And you can use ssd capacity as you want. Or you can add second 4gb of ram.because two ram slots in this laptop. You can use 2 slots of ram as 16+16=32GB of ram in this laptop.
You can not use M.2 ssd in this laptop.. only SSD 2.5"

No problem brother . Caddy connect directly motherboard. Its not affect the transfer speed and You can use 1tb ssd . But you purchase SSD with fast read write speed. Mean best quality ssd.

Hi, I replaced the SSD with a new one but it's not detected now. Does it mean that the new SSD doesn't work? Or should I have to do something else? Thanks in advance.
Bro you replace with original HDD or replace with CD Rom using HDD Caddy . If you replace with original HDD then go to bios settings change boot setting UEFI to legacy and try to boot it in legacy mode. If you replace with CD Rom then start window go to disk management and format your SSD drive with new letter path. Hope its work.
@@AKMTechnologyWaqarIqbal I replaced the original HDD with a Kingston SSD A400. I disabled secure boot and enabled legacy mode and it's still not detected. Hard drive not installed is what I get when I turn it on and Linux installation setup doesn't detect it either.
@@JohnDoe-kt5kp bro try it in UEFI boot mode again. Make sure you connect SSD drive corectly in laptop. Otherwise check this SSD in any PC you have. if not detected in PC you replace with new one.

There is no built-in SSD in this laptop.. but you can replace it with HDD..

Asalam o alaikum Brother, I have a question, my original HDD is not working anymore and i am thinking to replace it with SSD now but I don't have any proper knowledge as to which SSD to go for and which SSD is compatible (I have the same model as you have shown in this video), Just saw some of your comments and i wanted to ask can i use any 2.5 SSD ? And i have a price range of 6k or max to 7k, can you please tell me which SSD is good in this range ? I have searched for some 2.5 SSD on daraz and came up with some Hikvision but still I don't know if that is compatible or not, so please guide me brother
wa alaikum Salam brother. yes you can use 2.5" SSD in your laptop or pc any brand or capacity. Best SSD brand is Samsung. But you can use other brands. When you purchase any SSD you see the details first on it. Best SSD have fast read or write speed. Its depends on model, brand or price.🙂

Laptop slow ho sakta he.. but heat up hony se laptop sleep ya shutdown ho jata he.. agar ap ka fan normal se ziada taz ho jaey to service must he heatsink me dust ho sakti he or past problem bhi.. service k liay completely open krna paray ga or ap k takriban 1500 lag sakty he

Brother check camera flex cable is it connected to motherboard board properly?
Check out it is might be damaged both camera or audio input cables

If the flex cables are connected perfectly.. then may be your camera and audio software is corrupted. You can redownload them from dell support website.
You must reinstall the windows. May be it start working again.

When i press power button the light goes on(that small light on front) but then it starts blinking and red light appears too
RAM problems clean it and reinstall properly

@@aneesahmadkhan7031 The reason it was not turning on was because of ram not installed properly but along with that my HDD with 65% health got bad so I had to buy another one, It costed my around 4k with Installation of windows and other important software and drivers

Replace LCD screen cable. For solving the LCD back-light issue in this laptop. Disassemble full laptop for replacement.
