Funnily enough, my cousin was in a softball team in university when I was but a freshman in high school about 10 years ago. They won one of their big games and asked my folks to host the team's victory. Naturally I was excited; a whole bunch of college girls coming over to stay at my place for a bit. I made sure the house was clean as a whistle (even made my bed, a shock to my folks!), all the while I had a friend of mine helping me clean, and also his elder brother cooking the burgers and hot dogs on the grill with pops. They all came over and there was this one girl; stunning Texan brunette who was definitely one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen. Me and my pal made eyes at her as she walked by, but then we saw that she definitely was glancing towards my friend's bro, and who could blame her? Poor guy was shy af, though...so we took it upon ourselves to play wingmen. A couple of nudges here and there, some casual mentionings of his name to her, and he kept talking about a whole bunch of stuff he did (lifted at the gym, helped at animal shelters, occasionally helped coach Little League, etc). I think things went well, because they've been married for about four good years.
