I love several buildings on one lot, makes the world seem much more condensed and not so spread out and far apart
I haven’t played it yet, but I found out recently LittleMsSam’s has a Live In Business mod that allows you to hybridize community and residential lots. Worth checking out I think (I just haven’t gotten around to downloading it yet 😂)

I love that mod! My current sim runs a gallery on his lot where he sells his painting.
for the mircophone reqiurment i like to add like an basement "club" with a stage where they can do their comedy/poetry
Those multi purpose lots always make me want to play Sims 2! On Sims 2 you could set the lots as residential or community and the community could be literally anything. It was so so so good! I wish they kept the community lots like that on the other games in the franchise.

A furniture store would be a nice community lot for my woodworking sim. 🛋
Could you possibly build a few community lots in Henford-On-Bagley. Possibly something kid friendly/ family oriented like a restaurant or maybe renovate the bar 😭 I don’t have any packs created after cottage living came out so when I download your builds I’m missing some items and I’m tried and try Simlicy lover so I don’t really use anyone else’s builds other than yours 😅
With the apartment door you can make it a club door and set it that only your club can access

Good call on leaving the furniture out of the apartment. I used the in-home cafe mod today and thought I locked all of the doors for my customer sims. Nope! Some random townie took a bubble bath in my upstairs bathroom 😂
the thrift store section is uncanny. I swear I have visited several antique and thrift stores that look just like that...

Build idea: Use the clutter kits to make an odd couple style apartment. I was thinking one really organized sim and one really messy sim, maybe they are college roommates. :)

I think you can lock doors on community lots if you have your sim purchase the lot! I could be wrong, but I don’t know.
Anyway, I love this cute build! The thrift shop gives me all the feels! I LOVE thrifting! My 13 year old son and I will go thrifting while my daughter has her dance recital practices downtown.

They can’t unfortunately 😭 sims can only purchase retail, restaurants, and vets I believe. I really wish they could own the boba shops and cafes tho!!

I kinda wish it was like the cafe table. Where you could place it down, label the lot as something else, and hire someone to handle the boba tea. If I remember correctly, the label for Boba tea and thrift shop are together on one lot, correct? So I can’t have a boba shop on one lot and the thrift shop on another, correct?

The racks take you into CAS, and from there you can buy lots of random clothes of every type. So you don’t need separate shoe/glasses stands that’d also just take you into CAS, or something.
I just downloaded your save file so I'll definitely be replacing the copperdale boba shop with this one

If you want my sim to live in a non-residential lot like this one you can create a club (if you have Get Together) and make that lot your club hangout so that you have access to locking doors and whatnot

Actually because of the platform every time you enter the lot the stairs in the bookstore will snap to the platform, you'll have to love it all the way down to make it work every time

Love this build, but in the café there are two cabinets that are not the same color as the rest and it's bugging me. you can see it at 27:19 it's just throws me off. Sorry to sound like a nitpicker, I love your builds though, the rest of this is very great
