Man U must be really proud to drive that truck everyday knowing u doing most of the work and staying hands on, anyone can buy a new truck and trailer but the passion I was keeps us growing great job fellow trucker nice work.
Im with you about changing the tank from top to side, but be careful if your losing oil with the side one as it may succ air to the pump and a sight glass/level meter is a must.
He has too in order to raise the gear. Its a frameless end dump with legs that just slide down. You have to raise it a little in order to lower and raise them.
Though it comes with filter every where, don t put fittings, caps, hose openings any where on the ground, dirty things will make system malfunction early. Cleanliness is very important for any liquids running in the system. heavy machines could be very precision device, it is not t is a rough, course object, better dealing with high carefulness to get reliable performance.
When messing around with hydraulic fluid connections normally you don't put nothing on the threads you just run the system and if it leaks you just keep tightening till it stops leaking....... but looking good man 👀👍
Meechy Boomin your right you could use tape and loctite depending on the type , most of the time the connections have them o-rings and getting tape in between it will tear it up , but I agree you can use something on the tread... that brass connection ought to seal it up ... But your right you could
I always use thread on mine.and pulling end dump you always gone leak out the res.i dont give acceleration cus when u do and ppl do it all the time has it and u end up shooting it everywhere just take a few secs longer but I not leakin hydro fluid everywhere
Not to discourage you but I am sure you know those are some of the most unstable dumps you can pull loaded or empty. Not much frame structure there. ALWAYS be wary of your terrain when you dump and your load. Also be sure and watch for wires or any structure above you. Most things loose won't give you trouble. As long as you are level it will slide you should be fine but wet sticky stuff will. It just takes doing it and learning as you go but again don't take anything for granted. Be cautious with your load and surroundings and you will be fine.
Johnny Holland yes I know that, that’s the reason I really liked using the cps half round we have. All tires stay on the ground, and on this one only the rear axle. I almost flipped this one once, and the other trailer twice. But yes it all depends on the terrain When dumping. Sometimes I stand on my steps looking at the trailer to make sure it’s going up straight.
These arent the most unstable, those arms are the weak point, same as the break away bolts on the ram.a frame type trailer, when they go over, yhey take the truck with them. Just like anything, take it slow, get in a routine and you'll be fine.
Get rid of the frameless dump worst set up there is, get an East trailer with a frame! I pulled a dump trailer for many years and I liked them the best! Appreciate the video.
I know this video came out over 2 years ago but what happened with the red dump trailer? I've seen you use the white end dump trailer but not this one.
Nice tracter just a suggestion the butterfly nut on you're hydraulic to trailer dump should be on trailer hose the hydraulic hose coming from pump should be mounted solid on tracter. Make everything look neat mybe a pogostick for air lines and power supply
ed lattina yes need a pogo stick for sure, and the other end dump trailer we have has the same end on the trailer so need the butterfly nut on the truck.
That cabling the way it is will wear with ever turn you take with the truck and you will eventually wear through your air and or hydraulic lines. Did it happen yet?
Yes, I hate that about this trailers, no way I would ever unhook with a loaded trailer. Our white trailer if you can see on the videos one leg is broken started cracking till it broke.
Grtruckingdemolition yep. We can’t even leave it with pipe or anything. I don’t haul dirt or rock in it tho. We haul clearing debris like brush and stumps. Y’all staying busy?
Ya any kind of non crank landing gear like peg legs sucks baaad. I would most definitely not drop out from a trailer that’s loaded with those types of legs
Hey gr would it be hard to put a wet kit on if you have a truck with a pto and blower set up for pneumatic trailers? I’m trynna get into end dump in the Fort Worth area
el mago yea man, i used to deliver pizzas with it. My pops been using it for couple of months, and has it all fucked up lol, but I do want to drop it, put some nice wheels on it. And swap a 350 motor in it.
C King52 the same way you get into everything. You ask around, who’s looking for drivers. Search on Craigslist, Facebook. It’s how I started hauling oversize without experience and end dumps too.
Gliderider yes sir, that’s something I have to do ASAP, also bringing up the fifth wheel 4inches up and adding a removable pin so I can hook both lowboy and end dump
Thats a bad ass t800 i have seen your videos since u bought it nice job on it bro some mud flap hangers with lights and a rear center light panel would be nice

Marlion Marks yes sir, tryng to do the most I can by myself and learn as I go. Thank you 👍🏼
Good man.
Which kit is good for end dump? Any brand recommendations or link? Pls share
Good luck brother 💪. If you ever get slow on work come down to Austin plenty of work to go around
Do I need a trailer to get on or can I come with just my truck ?
Im with you about changing the tank from top to side, but be careful if your losing oil with the side one as it may succ air to the pump and a sight glass/level meter is a must.
Shifter extension is a must 🔥🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Alvin Tiiton hell yea
Looks like J I C fittings no need for anything on the threads!! I've installed many of those wet line kits, looks sweet👍👍
What's the average cost for a wet wine kit installation?
You should see about adding a wet box shut off valve so when you gotta do repair on couplings you can cut the flow
just a little safety advice run that trailer up and down EMPTY To make sure you get Any Air out of those Lines.
Bro I wouldn’t go under that trailer while it’s extended. I know it was only for a short amount of time but that’s all it takes

Nice truck bro. Gotta paint trailer next 👍🏼
Joe Deleon yes sir after I get the rig looking nice.

BLKsheepdog Tony G. Thanks for the info brother
BLKsheepdog Tony G. Nah you can use pipe dope, loctite ( depending on) or pipe thread tape...
Meechy Boomin your right you could use tape and loctite depending on the type , most of the time the connections have them o-rings and getting tape in between it will tear it up , but I agree you can use something on the tread... that brass connection ought to seal it up ... Say nice bro truck 👍🏼 how many gallons can your hydraulic tank hold?
50
You probably know this already but I would back under that enddump as straight as possible. We have the same one and the landing gear is super weak.
Yes, I hate that about this trailers, no way I would ever unhook with a loaded trailer. Our white trailer if you can see on the videos one leg is broken started cracking till it broke.

Cows Go Huh yes something like that, not crazy busy but we do a bit of everything so works out
Ya any kind of non crank landing gear like peg legs sucks baaad. I would most definitely not drop out from a trailer that’s loaded with those types of legs
