Hi Marta. Yes the willow will need to be soaked. A rough soaking guide is a day soaking per foot in length, then a day to “mellow” wrapped in a slightly damp blanket for a day before you weave with it. The verity of willow may need different soaking times and if the water is warm it will soak faster, if it’s very cold it will take longer. I hope this is helpful. Good luck Sue
