    This is jaw dropping. I love how subtle your gradient work is. It's clear that you're working towards a deep sense of immersion as everything feels so believable and alive.

    So well done, and realistic looking place - details are So important in builds and most often appreciated by the viewer too.
    But many times lots of them are so 'small' that only We know about them, but it feels good just knowing they're there, right.
    Also i love all the cool detailing we can do/make with our awesome item frame, i found soo many extra for deco playing with all kinds of stuff.
    Thanks for sharing your work!

      Yes exactly I agree, a lot of the smaller details easily do go on unnoticed by viewers. But I’ll be darn if I do add them anyways 😅. Thanks so much for watch!

    Very cute village, but what about toilets and a bath/bathhouse? My grandfather had 4 toilets in every building: in the forge, near the garage, in the hayloft, and in the 'pig' kitchen (a small room with a furnace, a trough, and a bucket to cook and mash waste, often it was green (poisonous like Minecraft) potatoes, grains, and water). 😂

    • @thekinderknight8622
      @thekinderknight8622  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Historically speaking not many people especially the peasantry would of had toilets in doors especially because there were no such thing as an actual toilet, there were garderobe and what was referred to as latrine, but that was a thing associated with castle living. The common people just had a bucket or in the case of people that lived in smaller settlements and towns and villages, when they need to use the the restroom the could a outhouse or go out into the wood with a shovel and dig a hole and go 😝. But I do plan to add in bathhouse in the future

    • @Cyberrjey001
      @Cyberrjey001 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@thekinderknight8622 Yep, by 'toilet' I meant exactly those outhouses. Somehow, he built three of them inside the buildings and one outside near the garage, as I mentioned above. He also had his own bathhouse where people from the entire village would come to 'have a drink' and take a bath. I think this was all related to the epic winters of the 20th century with knee-deep snow. Nowadays, we get very little snow, just once every three years....

    I like your blacksmith's house, as it is indeed very historically accurate, but I must say that armours and swords were not made by blacksmiths (or very rarely), but by armorers and swordsmiths. But that's just a trifle.

    • @thekinderknight8622
      @thekinderknight8622  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes very true, historically speaking they did not they did not outfit armour or weapons. But the blacksmith I created as I mentioned mainly focus his time on smithing chains, horse shoes for the varies mounts for the Lord and knights, and nails also, But under certain circumstances he has been know to smith armour and swords. You see my blacksmith has a back story that’s part of the overarching lore that I didn’t discuss.
      So there is a reason he’s able and have the skill to smith weapons and armour 😉. And thanks so much for watching and commenting!
