I haven't really looked into any theories, but I think March and Firefly may be related or at least be the same race. They both have the same eyes and Shampoo mistaking her Firefly for March I think is more than a coincidence. Firefly could very much awaken something in March sorta like Dan or at possibly tell her more about her past. That's what I'm thinking anyways! Loved the first episode and enjoyed hearing y'all yap about how passionate you are about gacha and yuri! Can't wait for episode 2!
Mina, the initial dialogue of Acheron with TB doesn't collude with the gender of the MC, it's based on the UID and previous dialogues you did. For example, I got the old friend dialogue even with the Male MC.
I’m going to die on this hill because I feel like a lot of people didn't get the point of Citrus. Citrus revolves around Mei's struggle to balance a self imposed expectation of upholding her family’s honor rooted in feelings of abandonment by her father with the realization that she is gay and therefor in her own estimations is incapable of doing that. The step sibling thing is a plot device that prevents Mei from being able to avoid confronting this as she is not able to isolate herself from Yuzu when she realizes she has feelings for her. As a result Mei attempts to resolve the issue by scaring Yuzu into not loving her. This is demonstrated in her actively gas lighting and being overtly cruel to Yuzu on several occasions of intimacy. She repeatedly validates and then crushes Yuzu’s feelings by implying that she is just using Yuzu. In these scenes, when Yuzu believes her she closes her eyes, and when she realizes she is being lied to and isn’t valued she opens them again. Mei gets to a point where she no longer feels she has to deny who she is and the miles she walked to get there are the plot of Citrus. It’s the story of how Mei Aihara learned she deserved to be loved, and already was.
Numi I had a VERY similiar death spoil moment for a different series (RWBY). Spoilers for an 8 year old webseries??????? So I got it spoiled that Pyrrha died from some very nice art on tumblr ( i had not been watching weekly for the new eps so i could binge it). So I was like 'damn that sucks' and cried a bit so when i watched volume three I was like 'i wonder when she dies'. And then in episode 9, another character dies. Penny. The cinnamon roll. I cried SO HARD because it blindsided me i was like WAIT WDYM SHE DIES BUT WE ALREADY HAVE A DEATH?????????? I was in shambles
The point about Himeko is absolutely my thoughts. It sucks that we finally get Himeko to join us for a mission, and just like the Topaz one, she's mostly gone and just kinda pops in every now and then. Unlike when we've been alongside the other 3 and they hang out with us for extended periods and we tons of interactions with them. Really hope she gets a lot more involved with us alongside her in future content, because it seems unfortunate that after almost a year of being with her we've had very little actual story moments with her.
Thank you TH-cam Algo for showing me this exists after the reaction to the Acheron/BS trailer. Ya'll need to promote this on your individual channels cus I had no clue! EDIT: Also, it's really funny watching this video on a two week delay after the latest couple of Acheron trailers, and see you discuss things like thinking you'll like her more, connections to HI3, etc. with that as context.
