I remember a time when FHM's motto was "the best is yet to come", it's sad to know that it never did. Old school will never be topped. I have no clue why Future House would be thrown into the dirt like this over the years. Bring back old school FFS!

The problem is that you can't expect Future House Music to stop uploading what they upload to go bac to something completely different just because you like it better. Btw, the "defining bassline" is not an oldschool thing only, it just depends on the song. I'm pretty sure that if you keep searching, you'll like many songs that you find interesting, even for modern genres. The same way you feel about modern versions, maybe our parents feel about electronic music. Many people just say "where did music go" just because new stuff is not of their liking. Music is subjective and we should all how to live with new stuff the same way we live with old stuff. Ps: sorry for writing this much but I think this is a really interesting topic! :)
