Definitely like the daily devotional quote. ❤ It does help you to work towards getting out of your own mental prison that may be created on yourself with illusions of fear. It’s okay to do what makes you feel happy and unblocks your creativity 😊
Love the Olde World project, it’s beautiful and deserves to be admired as you walk upstairs every night to retire for the evening 😊 You’re so right about social media and its influence. That speaks to me as well. So many people on YT stitching “fancy ladies” (I have only one that is nature oriented), and over time it has become apparent to me that I love nature oriented stitching the best for my home. That’s just me being me! We each have our personal preferences and how wonderful it is to discover and surround ourselves with what brings us peace and joy ❤
I have this old same world map as a wip. I can't seem to get back at it. Your presentation is making me think I should pull it out as a palette cleanser for my SS HAED I'm working on right now.
I love the map! I bought it when I first saw you stitch it and still havent started it! I think I need to start it this year! Thank you for bringing back into my life!
Wow, Gerald....just drive to Maryland with all that energy, I can put you to work. I'm glad your working on feeling better.! You deserve to feel as well as you possibly can. Keep visiting your healthcare provider, be honest, and together you will get there. ( Can you tell I'm a nurse?)I thank you for sharing your reading with us. Your old world map piece is great. I LOVE old maps. Thanks for inviting us in today.
I’m glad your feeling better. I just went through what you went thru. I had a MRI no cancer no tumors. It’s was stress. I love the stitching your doing.
Jacob Graff has an ambitious opinion of how much stitching can happen in a set amount of time. I bought the Advent SAL he did with Caroline and there was a LOT of daily stitching! In the end I decided to only do half the pattern! So I definitely endorse not trying to “keep up”. Do what you want when you want and you’ll enjoy it more.
Hi, I'm Tammy from Israel (hence the name in Hebrew). You amazed me - I stitch now the olde world map by Jalynn, stitching backstithes on the border as I watch you show it.......
I love learning from the stoics. Ryan Holiday always pops up in the TH-cam shorts for me. Your Old Globe is fantastic! Certainly a piece to be proud of. I can't wait to see how your Modern Folk Embroidery piece turns out! I'm also cheering for that second sock project! You never cease to amaze me. Love from Minneapolis!
I have stitched (The Old Globe)twice, the first time was a graduation gift for my grandson, and then my granddaughter saw it, and so I stitched it again.
I'm glad you are feeling better.
Oh my, that 2016 finish is fabulous! Glad you are back!

You read aloud well, thanks! I liked it. The fabric looks almost reddish eggplant not as purple though. Great video Gerald!

The map is lovely. Not an easy piece for the first stitch back into cross stitching.

Hi. Did the daily stoic all of 2021. I was enabled by Niece Lynn. Changed my life. Just add Faith to the philosophy

I completely missed the introductory slide that said “ironing curtains “. I tuned in and thought you were ironing a shirt😂. Great stitching as usual.
