- A common question I've been getting, is "Why don't I accept the Daily Exp Quests?" I made this video to hopefully explain how and why!
Complete the Tower EVERY DAY.
-Earn 60000 Tower points to earn a daily reward of 330,000 Gold.
-I'll cover how to earn the points in another video (A Tower Video!)
Level up your TEAM LEVEL as slow as possible.
-Don't accept daily quest rewards that gives you EXP.
-If you level your TEAM LEVEL too fast, your Hero's Levels won't be able to keep up!
-There isn't enough experience potions available to keep all of your Heroes leveled up once you reach level 60, unless you make enough gold to buy potions from the merchant everyday.
-If your TEAM LEVEL is more than 5-10 levels higher than your Hero's levels, you're going to have a hard time completing the tower each day.

This is my first time watching any of your videos. I'm new to the game and it was great to hear your perspective. I've been reading through the comments and I'm just so impressed with how polite and honest and communicative you are. I've seen a number of negative comments, often which were mean and unnecessarily aggressive, but the way you respond to them is calm and respectful. Thank you for the kind words! First and foremost, I'm doing this to help the community. These individuals took the time to watch my video (at least partially) and took the time and effort to make a post. They obviously felt strongly in what they had to say, so who am I to argue?
There are people who've played this game for years long then I have, and I'm happy to learn from them. But it goes both ways! Too many new players don't grasp the flow of resources in this game until it's too late, and they're left broke with nothing to do. This leads to eventually quitting.
What I've realized, is that the main theme or argument in this video could have been framed a little better; I should have talked more about that ebb and flow of resources a bit more.
Damn I should have watched this earlier. I'm currently at team level 109 and my highest hero level is at level 88. And I'm kind of going through the situations that you mentioned. Lets hope the by stopping to accepting the daily rewards will help mitigate the situation a bit
4 years later and this is still very good advice! While up your team level opens doors access to things it does so at the expense being able to progress in the game if your team level is way above what your heroes level actually is.
One other thing to note is that as your team level increases, the type of equipment fragments changes. First you start off getting blue equipment. At level 60 this changes to pink equipment and at level 80 it changes to orange equipment. Orange equipment is useless at lower levels so staying at the low levels longer is best for the tower.

hi, thanks a lot for all your contents, i've learned so much from you since i started this game (les than 2 months ago). I feel totally concerned by this topic because as an adept of power leveling in other games, i came here with the same mind... Result: i started focusing on team XP & after 2 weeks it reach 130. BUT i didn't have enough of gold or xp potions & i wasn't able to lvl up my hero skills or other things that cost gold or emeralds & give my teams good stats to progress in arena or guild djn & of course the tower.
Conclusion: do what he says guys don't do the same mistake i did ;-)

Interesting strategy. However, the team exp you get from the daily quests is really negligible compared to the exp you get in the story mode. And you kind of have to use the energy to get useful items to level your heroes' equipment, so it is a bit of a catch 22...
Can you do a top 5 characters and why you choose them? And then put those 5 in a ranking.

!!Disclaimer!! This strategy is not for everyone! Specifically those players that can complete The Tower each day. It's always best to focus on your main team of 5-7 heroes, and not spread out your resources.
Not accepting EXP rewards is meant to be a temporary solution to catch your hero levels up to your Team Level! Once you catch up (or can complete the tower easily) then you should absolutely be accepting EXP rewards!
I personally never accept them. More to say, I pull the brake EVERY time before I gain another team level. On the next day I clear the tower, do guild dungeon, arena and then the campaign to level up. That's all. If I don't have enough gold I just don't make any progress in the campaign and wait another day to be able to clear the tower again. That's it.
Best advice picked up from this video, DO NOT ACCEPT THE EXP REWARDS. No wonder I find it harder and harder to fight the tower. So my Team Level is 84 and my highest hero is only 63. To be honest, I was working to up level my 2nd team hence I left my first team untouched. It seems I need to level up my first team with exp potions.
I wish I knew this info before making the huge mistakes of taking all the free coins and experience points but in the tower the opponents u fight are equally skilled and it's hard to go any higher in the tower rooms
Your video is correct if you don't pay-to-play. Yet, if you are willing to spend, things are totally different.
100% correct! This was an older video and I've learned quite a bit since then. I should probably revise this.
@@HeroWarsCentral It would also be true this comes into effect around level 60 you would say? At least that's when I started to see the trend but was too dumb to realize and then got to about level 69 with level 63/64 heroes. I am slowly getting back to somewhere close now at level 78 with 74/75 in my main team.

I don't know how much the game has changed in 3 years but I'm relatively new. My team is Level 104 but my Highest Hero is 96 and I've only ever failed to beat the tower 3 times all legitimately from starting a match and then getting distracted and not executing my 1st attacks/Special moves and having my top team die.
I finish and collect those things every day ( the ones I can)
I've also made a lot of mistakes by spreading my resources and treating the heroes like Pokemon where I now have every hero except Jet and Cleaver with every hero at least Purple +1 from rank 52 up to 96. with about 70% at level 70 or better with 3 stars. It's stalled me in the Campaign mode and My Titans aren't great with all 3 tanks and super titans at level 48 with everyone except the new light and dark titans at 43+ and level 40+ artifact level for them all. but some days I have trouble getting 75 titanite and reaching a checkpoint, while others I hit 2 and end up with 150+ but I never have trouble with the tower. Right now I'm stalled on the 2nd stage of Chapter 14 because the Enemies are all level 120 and like I said my top Hero is a 4-star purple +3 level 96 Corvus, which I didn't know wasn't high tier until I had already leveled him, Phobos, and Morrigan to 93 and 91 respectively along with Thea and Iris. He still does massive damage against certain bosses and enemy types in the campaign so I guess it was worth it but having Astaroth, Aurora and Rufus seems more useful. I really feel like Maya is massively underrated though..

Good to know.. thanks. So far I'm only lvl 41 so keeping up in Hero levels isn't a problem YET. But I'll keep an eye on this in the future.
It's best to cycle on and off accepting daily quest EXP rewards. You'll want to be super disciplined with your top 5 heroes otherwise you'll have a major slowdown around level 60, and have to cycle off for longer.
@@HeroWarsCentral Been there done that lol. I made a mistake of using Asteroth, Qing Mao, Elmir, Judge and Thea on a team up till 65. Around 65 this team is the worst. Ended up having to make my current team from scratch.
@Quimarion Patten spend all your resources on your top 5, and not'dilute / waste your resource spending on your weaker heros; basically you do not touch them. Of course choose carefully what heros you want to be your top ones based on videos from experienced players videos like Hero Central here.

This was awesome advice for me when I ran into the issue of being able to get through the tower. I was watching out for it to happen recently but at level 118 my heroes were only 108 and I didn't run into the issue. It did take me a few days up to a week to fix the issue when it was happening before. Thanks again!
I use my team Astaroth, Quing Mao, Keira, Nebula, Martha . Got 1 issue on 2 day doing it(without using retreat), and from this time i max every day.
This is brilliant advice, thankyou. I didn't realise there was so much gold to be had in the tower. The extra gold has made a massive upgrade to my hero's skills even over the last couple of days.
I feel like this is one of the biggest secrets to new players. Until you unlock the titan soul shop, new players are just broke all the time.

This explains why I've been doing WORSE in the tower lately. I will see if I can catch my heroes back up to my team level by avoiding the free team exp quest rewards.
Until someone told me, I was digging myself the same hole. One day, I would complete the tower, and by the end of the week I was barely able to complete half of it!
It get's WAY easier, I'm level 81 I think, and so long as I keep my 5 heroes leveled up it's an easy clear. And, there are may more ways to get gold later on as well!
I have been completing the quests everyday since past 2 months. I am level 74 right now, so maybe its not really end game yet, but I face no challenge in the tower.
Is the level of your best players close to your "team" level ?
1:15 don't skip the guild activity points! they don't give xp, just glyphs and gold.
This has probably already been said, but the rewards in the Daily Quests that give runes for Guild activity, or the ones that reward just Outland Coins, etc DO NOT give experience. The only ones that give experience to raise your team level are the ones that specifically say they do. That portion of your video implies the opposite.

Strange every day i cleared the tower while leveling up, currently at lvl 100 and get the secret doors to the chests.
this video maybe relevant at the lower levels but not once you get past lvl 80/85.

Exactly whats happening to me, curse of FTP. I'm struggling to get hero levels and gold faster than my team level, especially with trying to build synergies and teams for grand arena and outland
The higher the Level the color of the items changes from purple to Gold / Red.

u can better advice someone to focus on a killer at start...forexample ishmael or kark, jhu
it's easy to pass tower but it's not easy to reach lvl 130.
@@zaazabwoy I think that it's much easier to hit level 130 than it is to complete the tower at 130. You can level up just by playing the game! And I play every day...

At about lvl 50 you will notice that your Hero levels will have outpaced your daily gold income. I think it would be good to accept ALL quest rewards to about lvl 10 or 15, then focus on the quality of levels by NOT accepting any EXP quest rewards till about level 50 or 60. When you hit those levels your team will be MUCH stronger than someone who did rush to 50 or 60.

you can accept the guild activity rune quest, it has no impact on your team level and gives you runes!

This makes sense, and it's why my level 72 team has been unable to clear the tower for a while (as I'm level 80). But... How do you suggest slowing that down, while also raiding every drop of energy into promoting the core heros?

Nice strat. just hit team lev 50 for the purps. Will stop taking the xp freebies.
After playing for awhile I've rethought this tactic. It's definitely a good idea to stop accepting team exp while you're catching up your main 5 heroes, but after that it's ok to start accepting again.
Then, if you need to, you can always stop in the future to catch back up other heroes. At level 86 I'm still alternating on and off!
Tbh my best way to make gold beside the tower , its with titan stones aspect . once all your titans are with 6 stars (full star) you get currency that you can exchange for a lot of gold or exp titan , I get daily millions of gold with that . that requires you to have an active guild who gets a lot of sumoning stones tho =P
I'd say that this guidance is not accurate. I never "did not collect" any gold and had NO problems AT ALL in clearing the tower each day. I also BALANCED my Heros rather than focusing on five or ten. I literally raised 30-40 Heros levels around the same time throughout my growth.
When your team level reaches 90, you do not need to fight the enemies in tower and get instant clear after you managed to clear the tower for additional 7 times
what happens then?
Best advice I ever got in this game. As soon as I stopped accepting EXP rewards, I was able to get my team maxed (level, skills and gear) and keep them there. I've been completing the tower daily since about level 45 and I always have enough gold.

Tower is not based on Team Level, is based on your strongest Team Power.
Can you do one one grinding for gear. I've been known to spend over two hours trying to get 5 swords and still falling short...
Raid the campaigns for items if you don't need the VXP for your heroes.
I definitely am glad I came across this video. I have reach lvl 40 yet but this is good to know for the near future
Keep in mind it's about cycling. If you forever skip accepting exp, you'll really slow yourself down.
its important to hit tower but its a bad idea to hold back, as log you can do tower one should level up as fast one can.
Wish this was more common knowledge in the beginning! I am in that exact position trying to fitfully catch my hero level up to my team level. I didn’t understand what was driving the team level up so high. Currently it is up to 97 or so and top heroes are squeezed up to 80. The Tower just can’t be completed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am using the mobile app if that makes a difference at all. Thanks and really learning a lot from your videos!
You can Accept the runes actually they don't add any level xp
it took from NOV 6th watching this to Jan 23 to turn around the problem and be able to reach level 50 in the tower.
What he gets wrong is ... If your team level is 80 you get +50% more gold in the tower. Even if's not a full clear that extra 50% is a ton of gold. Get to level 80 team level and you will get way more gold in the tower.

Thanks. You single handedly stopped me from deleting this game because I was on the cusp of exceeding the team vs hero level. Grinding is getting harder but knowing what I know now correction can be made. Thanks.
Another important thing to keep in mind is you should cycle this; you can keep not-accepting exp until you catch up, but it's a good idea to start accepting EXP again at some point. And then when you start to get ahead of yourself a bit again, go ahead and stop accepting EXP again for awhile. Even at almost level 90 I do it.

I'm trying to reach lvl 50 as fast as i can, bcs my healer char (don't remember her name Theona or similar? Don't know xD) can't evolve in violet till that lvl. Is this a mistake? Should i slow down lvling my team even if i have a blue char?
Another question. It's really hard for me to lvl up my titans. Hardly i reach 10 lvls in the dungeon each day. How can i improve?
And the last one. It's really, really hard for me to incress my chars stars. Am i doing something wrong or is it supposed to be that hard?

Thank you for the support! Let me jump on your questions:
Getting to level 50: I believe that you should get to 50 as quickly as you can, so you can work on the tower. That being said, you should not level too fast, if you can't keep your main 5 heroes fully leveled up. (Example: if your team level is 50, you really want your top 5 heroes to also be level 50).
The titan/dungeon thing is supposed to be a slow grind like that. Most days I get 10 or maybe 15 levels myself. Somedays I get lucky and get a little further, some days I don't. It's just a daily grind!
Your heroes stars are also slow to level up on purpose. Some of them, like Thea, you can get her soul stones from the campaign. Other heroes have a much harder time getting their stars. I'm working on a chart with my buddy Dan about which heroes can get stars the easiest!

When you raid a mission you get that much XP in potions at a minimum guaranteed (depending on the mission you will get an extra small XP potion which will take you slightly over the xp total for doing the mission normally). So if the mission were to give 100xp to each of your heroes then at a minimum you're going to get an EXP potion and 4x smaller EXP potions as raid loot. Mission dependent but you might even get 5x smaller EXP potions as guaranteed loot (so +50xp compared to what the mission would normally give). On top of this there's a "chance" to find EXP potions as regular mission loot.
This is interesting. I thought the only tooltip in the game refers to a chance only. Thanks for the assist! I'll add this to the description.
@@HeroWarsCentral When I first started playing I was working to figure out what was the best way to level up my heroes. As such I ran multiple tests to see if doing normal fights or raids were the best way to get XP. In short I noticed that the XP I got from Raid Loot potions was always within a Smaller EXP Potion compared to running the mission yourself. Normally you would get slightly more XP via raiding (so if your heroes would get a total of 315xp then you would get 350xp worth of potions), but some of the missions from the lower chapters gave ever so slightly less XP via raiding compared to doing it yourself (was always less than a 50xp difference though).
Note that I only tested this in Chapters 1-6 and I haven't tested it at the higher chapters (1-6 was all I had available at the time when I was testing).
EDIT: Just tested Chapter 10 Mission 14 Dark Waters. I got 2x EXP Potions and 3x Smaller EXP Potions (750 total xp) via the raid loot. I then ran the mission and got 146xp per character (730 total group xp). So it indeed still holds true at higher chapters.

the game sets you up for failure, why they do this i don't know. so you've got so much time invested and you have to spend money to get out of the mess the game made for you. bad karma for the game . doesn't make sense

I've spent $1.50 on it and I've been doing fine. With a 94,381 point team, I'm at better than 900 rank in the grand arena and my teams can usually beat higher value teams with a little thought. Also I'm completing the tower every day, although I think that'll be even easier now after I've seen this vid.
It forces you to buy the pass for avoiding this failures. VIP's are getting way more gold and other resources for the same quests. The price is not that high, but still this is pay-to-win-like monetizing scheme and it's sad.

I did run into the hold up at level 60 and it took a while to grind through, but now I'm at level 92 and can run the tower each day without having to grab the defence boosts so I arrive at the top with maximum gold.

I get all the EXP quests *and* finish the tower almost daily - the secret is to set aside enough gold for EXP potions to stay near the level cap.
it's a totally lucky run, some run can go down to 150k ...

the funny part is every encounter in the tower after floor 30 is everyone at level 80 (or something like that) even though my team level is only 77 and my team's levels are 69, 68, 65, 65 and 67, no idea why but was able to demolish them with a bit of strategic use of abilities...
Sometimes the tower throws strange teams at you. I was up against some lvl 80 teams with my 105s today.

@@pyrophobia133 Helios is a big softy. Use a hero that single targets damage, like Galahad. Jhu you need to have a tough back line, like Martha.
I quickly leveled up to play in the tower but bam, to play my all heroes need to be at level 40 also.

Found by myself, I have 20 000 000 gold every day, i have tower around 1000 000, most imortant is that at each level money chest are repeated
I am at single level 55and my team level is 56. I watched this video yesterday and have incorporated the message. I now team level up about half way to the next player level. So, once you have seen your team level go up, you should not play the tower until you have leveled up to the next player level also. I bought into the gem 💎 packages when they were on sale for an additional 25% off. So my position has me able to have gems. I lost in the tower yesterday, overall have not made many successful runs straight thru. There is going to be a hard scrapple to manage the benefits the tower can provide without putting in real money. I am going back to the tower today with all my skills leveled up.

I am currently running into the problems you are describing My strongest hero is lvl68 but my team level is 78 and I have a difficult time getting past (dont laugh) level 11 in the tower. Another thing I am doing which I believe is a mistake is having too many hero's so it is getting difficult to level up my higher ones. I have enough hero's to do 5 expeditions at once but can only do 2 of the ones requiring the highest power levels (currently 44k) I wish I had seen this vid a couple months ago. I have been scrounging every exp point I could get my hands on.

@@edfrawley4356 That's up to you. It could be worth doing since you definitely know more now than you did before. However, a 10 level difference isn't that hard to fix.
Let your guild know you're going to slow down your activity for a week. Then, don't do any campaign missions, don't collect any items for your heroes, don't accept any daily exp rewards. *JUST* do the tower, and collect any free stuff the Facebook page gives you. It shouldn't take too long to catch up your skills and levels. Get within 4-5 levels and you should be fine.

Your missing out some gold in the daily quests. I collect all but the one's that give team exp. By not collecting your guild activity quest your slowing down the glyphs lvling. For tower team for starters Asteroth, Thea, Judge, Elmir, and Qing Mao are great. but once you have Galahad, Krista, Lars, Celeste and Nebula up to lvl then you will not have to worry about changing out hero's. With the Galahad team I don't have any hero's die while in the tower. I use a combination of galahad/nebula skills for some lower lvl teams or no kills at all. but some I use Lars/ Krista skills. I wait till lars's skill gathers the opposing hero's then I use krista's skill before they start running back to their spots or separating from each other due to Krista's skill doing more damage that way. My current team lvl is 73 along with my main team at 73. Today tower was a bust in gold. Only 1 40k gold chest was grabbed and no others gold chests. Arena lvl can give gold at 8pm your game time depending on standing. Although I have been playing since January 25th I had stagnated my lvl at 65 for a while to get my galahad team up to lvl to replace my Asteroth team which becomes useless in around lvl 60-67. My asteroth team works great for campaign but becomes useless anywhere else at later lvls. I don't use ishmael at all. With my current team I don't even use the tower's healing or resurrecting. Celeste placed on healing when needed keeps the party alive. Nebula's assist buffs work great. Considering this team can defend well in the arena and grand arena but it still has it's problems. I am missing 8 hero's. Peppy, Jhu, Ziri, Dorian, Cleaver, jet, helios, and Maya.
My team is 90k power atm. Was 84k around lvl 70. Maybe less. Thanks to the last Event with the artifact chests i was able to upgrade my teams artifacts up to 21-23. Can't wait till I break into green artifacts. If I had known that my other team would be so useless later i would have already be in green with the Galahad team. This event alone put me from lvl 70 to 72 on farming all possible heroic missions for 2-3 days straight. But it was worth it.

It feels weird after reading the comments here... I am level 62, took daily quest every day, up one team level per day and almost always get to the top of the tower. I think at level 50ish I had some trouble for a week or so but now it is totally okay. Is it because of the team one picks? I noticed that your team don't have a whole lot of healers, and I have Celesta in the main team, and Maya Thea Dorian as my 6,7 and 8th person, who can be switched in to use an ult when the team health is low. But I wished I have seen your video when I was 50ish level then I'd have gotten more gold now.
Having a strong set ofnhealers to rotate in would have definitely helped me!
Yeah, having strong healers is critical for finishing the tower each day. Maya seems to be the star, and I like Faceless copying her ability. This seems to be the best way to do the tower.
Do you have an update to this video? I’m into the game now about a month and only just found your channel. Sadly I’ve already leveled up my team to 80 but my heroes are all at 60. Any hope for me?
Yea, search for daily quests on my channel. Basically you just need to make sure you can clear the tower everyday.
I have Ziri as my main tank. Who pairs well with her? I use martha,jorg,dark star, last spot I am not sure who to use.
You'll want the hero that's second in line to be a stronger hero. Jorgen is an excellent choice, but so would be Galahad, Ishmael, or maybe one of the other tanks.

What about if you are in exactly opposite situation? Im constantly struggling to advance the main campaign. The mobs outlevel me with 20-30 levels and i can't upgrade my heroes. I have the resources but i am restricted by the team level. I am lvl 39 right now, fighting lvl 62 mobs, frustrating...

Its probably too late gor me. My team level is 87 and my first 5 are level 80. While my next 10 are anywhere from 65 to 75. Main team is Maya, karhk, lars, krista, and nebula. With skills at 30 to 40. I want to take skills up more but have trouble with gold. Any ideas?
It's not too late! You can just stop accepting the exp rewards daily and after a week or two you'll be fine.

Is it possible to catch your top 5 back up if they are 10 levels behind? Actually make that 15 to 20 behind?
Started testing this today . I have nearly team 500 exp sitting unopened. And I have levelled my top 5 atleast once each without gaining a team level.. it may take a couple months without purchasing a pile of exp potions but it is possible and I will be striving to balance my hero levels to the team level. Thanks for the video I wasn't even sure what controlled the tower level. But its much clearer where the difficulty has come from now.
It is too bad they don't have an item that "unluckily" (luckily) lower your team level by one until you level it up again.

I play this game from march 2020. I can remember 4-5 times i didn't finish the tower. But recently i can't remember to not finish it. So ........
I am now avoiding all daily quests that give EXP. But I see no reason to avoid the daily quests that don't give EXP.
So my best heroes are in the low 60's but my Team level is much higher. Aside from skipping the XP rewards, how can I fix this?

i think its fine to lvl up. i'm new to the game; lvl 43. its my 3rd day at the tower. my 1st run was 19lvls when i was 40. 2nd run was lvl 23. 3rd run was 28. i dont know if thats good or bad but what i'm trying to say is, at least ure able to open a few chests each day. there's no way you'll go down right? u'll go higher each day and i think that adds up everyday. i'm waiting to get my 2nd healer hoping that would get me higher
update: completed tower on 4th run. just rush resu on astaroth
i don't think it's applicable anymore as apparently they have changed this - i'm lvl 55 and already on stage 29 in the tower i get lvl 69/63/64/69/65 enemy. so this isn't working anymore as they are waaaaay higher levels and i'm not sure i can even defeat that.

So you skip the runes and the gold from guild activity, but why? There is no xp reward in that, or is there? Gonna check now, check my team xp before and after claiming, and will edit if there is. If there is none, my statement stands: grab the runes and the gold :D
you give up about 42,500 gold/day by not accepting daily quests, 15 free chests in the tower to pick. i just started collecting team xp again. i stopped at lvl 68 cause tower was too strong,now at lvl 127 i am collecting everything to get to 130 asap now cause tower is a breeze, then i can auto click it everyday, and my heroes aren't compromised by being low lvl in arena battles. never buy hero potions they give enough away for free,kinda same with the skins, same coins for recipe items, esp now that more are available in all stores
The usual advice of matching your heroes with your team level is really crap, and the counterpart of no accepting EXP rewards is crap too.
I used to grab all EXP rewards to increase my level because my heroes needed upper levels to be able to use certain items and evolve them. That was true until level 75 which I needed to turn several into Violet+3 (or half-orange as I call them).
At that moment I stopped taking EXP rewards but now I'm level 81!
How that happened? Simply because from that moment on, getting items from battles turned into a nightmare! For example, I could raid 9 missions in order to get some souls and most of the time I could one get 1! Or looking for fragments, I've played a battle 15 times and looting just 1 fragment!
All that battle EXP sadly raised my team level 6 times, without me actually wanting it.
I don't know if the game is intended to behave like that, but it's really annoying!
I have done every daily every day and my hero level is 124 and I have 10 hero's that are 124 artifacts are all 51 of 100, gift of the elements is 15 of 30, glyphs 25 or 50, skins are only 20 of 60 so a little low, skills maxed. so not doing daily stuff to keep from out leveling your hero's while it may be an issue for you and or others I have no problem. Do I pay money you ask yes I do I pay the 1.89 for the Valkyries thing also bought emeralds like 2 or 3 times at 1.89 during x4 sales so no not a lot gold made of emeralds.
Update: ow that Tower Crowns have been introduced to the game, this method is now officially obsolete - earn seven of those (I did it in a week) and you can clear the tower instantly! No more need to be concerned about things like team level and what-not...
I get you get more gold by completing the tower with level 6 VIP, but that doesn't explain why do you skip the daily rewards. Can you answer that? Doing both tower and claiming daily quest would be even more gold, right?
Thats a good advice, but i do it my way,. I beat the tower countless times. Now im level 94, and my hero levels: 70-80.
I totally never followed this advice and on consecutive days (where I can start on level 26) I can always finish tower easily even though I am level 89 and my core hero team is all level 75-80 (average probably 77) - granted, they are all Purple +3 (FB), have all level 30+ 3 an 4 star artifacts, have all important glyphs leveled over 20, and have at least level 17 gifts of the elements. Note however, that my team isn't even optimized, as I got too far into the game before realizing I was building a team that didn't make a ton of sense in terms of complementary skills. (Core team is Dante, Galahad, Corvus, Thea, and Asteroth, but in tower I often replace Asteroth with Karkh or Astrid & Lucas). I have always found Tower teams to be incredibly easy to beat because yes they have high levels, but they don't have high stars, colors, or skills. Even on days where I didn't play the prior day and have to start at the bottom I can usually get to the top by pacing myself on the lower levels and using healers judiciously and a healing pet.
This is actually really horrible advice. The suggestion that you have to stay at low level just to farm the tower is one of the most counterintuitive strategies ever and is in essence a noobtrap. Yes, it is true that with greater team level the tower power levels escalate accordingly, but what you're omitting is the fact that with greater team level, your tower prizes escalate as well. This is especially noticeable when you go from level 79 to 80 and trigger that permanent +50% gold buff which really puts tower farming at a whole new level. If you seriously think that in order to succeed as a free player you have to perm at low levels just to make sure your team is strong enough to advance for the couple next levels, you're playing the game in a massively inefficient way. I never permed at any level while playing the game, yet I never had troubles decimating the tower later on, it just involves playing the game in a smart, strategic way.
Here's how you make money efficiently:
1) Hit level 50
2) Start farming Ishmael's soulstones in Grand Arena
3) Summon Ishmael when you have enough soulstones and keep striving for more so you can evolve him as soon as possible.
4) Find a guild
5) Start farming activity for glyphs
6) Gear up Ishmael and try to keep him up to date, even if it takes all of your resources early on. This includes upgrading his glyphs and artifacts as well as gift of the elements, skins are optional. It will start to pay off when Ishmael becomes strong enough to manhandle tower on his own.
Yes, you may argue that Ishmael is not very good at later levels when it comes to serious content, but nobody's saying you have to use Ishmael to that extent, all you really have to do is make Ishmael strong enough to solo the tower at every level and you can start pouring all of your resources into different heroes. In the early stages of the game, you should go for all 4 Ishmael's comrades in the main party, because one single powerful party is something you'll be relying on for a really long time. From what I've seen in your video, I can tell you're spreading your resources like crazy, like why do you worry about the twins, Jhu and so on if in the end you don't even end up using them? If it's about Grand Arena, don't worry about that and just settle for a stable position that will earn you at least 5 coins per hour, or 10 coins per hour once you become more advanced. Worry about spreading your resources more when you actually reach maximum level, because that's when your main party will not be able to grow anymore in terms of levels/skill levels and it will all hinge on evolution, gears, glyphs, skins etc etc.
To get started with Ishmael, make sure to get him to at least purple +2 rank, level him as much as possible and do the same for skills. Once you have that out of the way, it's time to go for his Glyphs. Early Ishmael is very weak, so the first Glyph you ideally want to max out is his Health Glyph. The reason for Health Glyph first is rather simple - Helios. You're likely to encounter Helios in tower a lot, and with no durability applied, Helios will utterly decimate early Ishmael, because Helios will take away too much health with every critical Ishmael makes. Once Ishmael's HP is maxed, Ishmael will be capable of surviving several strikes from Helios without dying, and his vampirism will start to have some meaning since Ishmael will be functional as a semi-tank. For this reason, you should also consider maxing out Ishmael's Gift of Elements first, because on top of improving Ishmael's main stat and his Health by a significant amount, it also provides him with intelligence, which translates into more Magic Defense. Since Magic Defense is so rare on Ishmael, even this slight Magic Defense boost will prove to be a godsend. After Ishmael's durability reaches functional levels, that is when you start improving damage so Ishmael can start to dish out some real damage and truly benefit from his Vampirism. I personally went with this order: Agility, Physical Attack, Armor Penetration and Critical Hit. Reason why I went with Armor Penetration so late is the fact that in tower most of the enemies were incapable of resisting my full damage by default, and only a couple of tanks were capable of mitigating some percentage of it, so I concluded it would be wiser to improve direct damage sooner, since it would let Ishmael clean much faster. Choosing Agility first was the more pragmatical choice over Physical Attack, because, despite the fact it provides less attack than Physical Attack glyph, Agility provides Ishmael with extra armor (means even more durability), better accuracy against dodge heroes and better critical immunity. Being able to hit more is especially a tremendous boon, and not getting critical'd on Ishmael could be crucial to winning a battle. I went with critical hit as the last glyph, because I couldn't see any benefits from it at low levels. Even without properly upgrading the glyph, Ishmael at low levels is usually capable of critting very often, so the benefit of upgrading critical hit so early on wouldn't show up until much later in the game.
Last but not least, perming at low levels makes you a huge liability in guild wars, especially if you're using heroes that have abilities that can fail if enemies are higher level than your abilities, moreover you will be limited in titan growth, because low levels have low level cap on titans also. Getting from level 1 to 130 takes roughly a year if you do your dailies every day, so it's a huge loss if you don't accept them for long periods of time.

Same, i would better advice that to work on your killer.....and stop lvl upping till tower becomes easy for u. i was adviced this by Miguel (hero wars youtuber) but i did never stop....till one of my guild mates told me that am missing alot of power and lvl upping gives u alot.....it's not easy to reach 130.
i hve used ishmael also....worke on his glyphs, did not give him too much..cuz some months later i changed formation to +Jhu,nebula, jorgen, ziri and corn.....now am using corn and Martha..wich one plays is pased on my enemy

But anyways, properly upgraded glyphs give Ishmael huge boosts, they really do make enormous difference especially early on. If you think glyph boosts aren't much, I'm not sure what to say to you. Each to their own I guess.

I just started playing, and I'm still confused as to why I shouldn't accept daily rewards.
As you get into the mid-level for characters (Level 50+), you'll start to notice that by taking the daily rewards experience, you'll advance your team level faster than you can advance the 5 heros that make up that team. The experience rewards for the daily missions ONLY add to the Team level (upper left corner)...not the individual hero's levels. Since the difficulty of the tower is based upon team level, the heroes eventually won't be able to beat all the floors in the tower. That will mean less gold. I've been following this advice for the last 15-20 levels, and I routinely beat teams of heros in the Grand Arena that are 5 to 10 levels above my characters. In other words, more solid hero development at the expense of just running up my team level.

It's not a mistake to level up you hero levels slower than you team levels. Your team level dictates what doors are open to you. That means you can join a guild and get a massive boost even with a lower level set of heroes.
You'll still need to catch up at arena and tower levels so you'll be at a disadvantage
I think rush to level 60 to unlock all the game. Then dial it back and keep hero level as close to team level as possible

my hero's level is only one level lower than my team level... but I can't make it past level 35 in the tower
This is my take on exp that is related to the team level stat. The icon that has exp written on it are related to team leveling numbers. That includes whenever you battle in the main storyline. If you raid, you get team level points only. When you take exp icons because you won them, they are team level points. The other thing about using leveling up potions is to, for example, bring a new hero up to your main heroes experience level. Using potions, on your main front hero line, after you just leveled up is a waste of those potions, and does not allow you to see the amount a battle nets when you win. The tower can get out of reach to a player not willing to purchase items for real money. The tower at the 41st door is tough. I spent a massive amount of accumulated stuff to level up 3 players to get to the top of the tower this morning. I plan to lie low on using any leveling up for a while and maybe play the tower again after some daily free stuff roles in, to keep from losing in the tower again. I want accumulate some big time credits/money.

Thats just not right. You need to reach lvl 80 and 130 as soon as possible. with karkh and/or ish its no problem to make tower, no matter how high your hero/team level is. this is the biggest fault ever in the game to not rise team level.
I lead a guild on server 16 now where they exactly done what you said. after I told them how really to play we play in goldleague. you sill need to learn the game, you cant make tips if you are a low level player.
I have all 3rd artefacts from titans on lvl 120 and know how to get much of gold and i never had gold problems. Also i´m on top of server 17 and 14 with multiple accounts and all are very strong because i reached lvl 130 asap.
You are absolutely right, I missed some key things about this game.
I will not dispute most of what you said. However, I believe you've forgotten what it's like to be a mid to low level player with no information available. I quickly outleveled my heroes (because I didn't focus on a 5) and struggled to have enough gold (and really, enough of anything to do) because of it. This was the best way to dig myself out of the hole I was in.
Knowing what I know now, I'm working on a revised guide to this video. I still feel like it has great information, but I can't just put out information that doesn't help lower players.
From what I understand, Ish sucks late game compared to others. Why would I recommend people wasting effort on him?
@@HeroWarsCentral well you need ish for outland, so its not really "wasted" time but since about 1 year i didnt pushed him with all of my accs (i have over 10 :P )
