In this episode, SPOILERS FOR DRAWINGS….. Okay, anyway, I draw Dresden Oakland, before he got his burns and become the Overseer that runs our Backrooms Inspired Supervillain prison, BackCells. Then, I draw Tarsa, the Overseer who runs the 05 Council in his world as well as the SCP Foundation. Next, I draw The Reaper, who’s job it is to wipe out worlds in the Multiverse that threaten other universes. Finally, we have Fear Herself, the Demon Overseer from Mara’s world!

Out of all the characters in the "Multiverse Tales," Dresden must be the most exciting for me. And now that the mystery around him is getting a bit clearer, this is just becoming more and more indulging to follow.

Dresden is one of the best villains that I've seen in a while. Not only is his backstory incredibly tragic, but he's also this terrifying force of nature!

In the past, you made armors out of different beasts that you haven’t drawn, like a minion dragon, a Firby dragon, a Radiance from Hollow Knight dragon, and a Blitzo from Helluza Boss dragon. Maybe you could do an episode where you take these armors and turn them into dragons.
This is a pretty good idea! Might even consider it for a community redraw and let others design them!
or even turn an SCP Monster that Popcross haven’t draw yet (like 🐱Gorefield/SCP-3166😈) into a Suit of Armorer/Mythical Beast

1) Dr. Champagne- what were you doing while your boyfriend and Ana were fighting a bunch of cute monsters at the Sharp Tank recently?
2) Benny- did you enjoy those scones?
3) Vasilia- have you ever made armour from an octopus? (I mean, I don't know if you actually *can* make armour from an octopus, but if anyone could, you definitely could, Vasilia)

Did you know the only solid part of an octopus is its beak? They're razor sharp on a regular octopus, so the beak of a Dire Octopus would be great material for the weapon!

I 100% mean this as a compliment when I say that you have taken one of the most monotone characters I know and made them the lead of one of the most intriguing stories I've stumbled upon in the last few months. Like I was listening to every word and watching the screen by every second! The way you've been able to take a collection of what looks to be a semi serialized series and semia anthology at the same time and interweave them flawlessly is amazing! This is by far one of my favorite channels to come out of TH-cam!

i was not expecting scp dude dresden to own the backrooms but they do both have their own similarities so its fitting that the narrator for scp has a large role in the baxcell saga
Holy cow that was awesome! This story left me with chills and I’m really glad we finally got to see Fear Herself.
Christian just casually dropped the most insane lore drops and weaved such an insane story. The Mara reveal at the end had me hyped, I’m so glad she’s getting more to do.
I've been itching for some backstory on Dreseden although he's not my top 5 he's still a enjoyable character and alot of development and depth, I cant wait for Friday! Great work!

@@PopCross I new that the SCP-Foundation would turn out to be evil in some way but I was not expecting Overseers to be at the very top controlling everything
I've always believed that it's the characters that make a good story. Plot and worldbuilding certainly help, but the characters, how they interact with each other and the situation they've found themselves in are what _really_ turn a good story into a great one.
You, Christian, have managed to craft many interesting and entertaining characters so far and now with Dresden I can say you've practically mastered the art of character creation! His journey was fascinating to see play out and I sincerely cannot wait to see what happens next!
Keep up the phenomenal work. You are without a doubt my absolute favorite art TH-camr and I look forward to your videos every week!
Some more questions related to demons this week, Christian, in light of the redraw on Friday.
1) Even if he doesn't interact with Mara or Kate at any point, is Clayton going to be referenced or have some role in the plot?
2) Was the story about Crocerpatlok(am I saying that right?) partially inspired by Peter Pan? Seeing as there are two men called James and Peter, and James gets attacked by a crocodile (but in this case, the crocodile's the one missing a limb)
3) How big an organization *is* the Predator Coalition of Demon Hunters?
1) Sort of in passing at this point. I liked the idea of having him come in, but there is alot happening in this story that is more important. I do plan on a confrontation eventually though

3) Not massive, like 1000 people all in. And they'd be spread out over different countries and contintents

What if you drew kinds of food as Dragons?
Example: A pizza dragon with wings made of bell pepper, black olives for eyes, a belly made of pizza dough, and breathes hot melted cheese (or pizza sauce)
A Chinese - style noodle dragon maybe? It could have spikes and/or horns made from the stuff you put in with the noodles.

I love the story and lore you’ve developed for this channel. This episode made it feel like puzzle pieces I didn’t even know were there all of a sudden fit in the picture that is this channels lore. With every multiverse tales episode (and even some that aren’t) question are answered and new ones raised. The art and lore in this channel is spectacular! Keep up the amazing work.
Jaw.... dropped! I am in awe with how awesome this video turned out! Better than how I would have expected! The story that you've concocted for Dresden is practically perfection, and how this ties into the Community Redraw on Friday has me even more excited than I was beforehand! And now I can't decide whether my favorite drawing of this video is either The Reaper or Fear Herself, but I have a feeling that either of them will be the top drawing of the month - if not the year! Also, I may have found a new idea for a future video: mythological/religious characters as Overseers!

This was incredible. I always enjoy seeing your Multiverse Tales videos. Especially the ones where we learn about new overseers or even have new narrators telling their tales in you series, since they are a favourite of mine and I've been really enjoying your original series. So seeing you draw not only Dresden but also the other overseers like Tarsa and Fear Herself alongside the Reaper is just incredible. I especially love The Reaper’s and Fear Herself’s designs the most. Dresden's gives off a cool and almost mysterious appearance mixed with an unusual scientist who just emanates knowledge as well as someone who's willing to seek answers to the many questions in the multiverse...plus I just like how he looks like a badass scientist who also knows how to fight if the situation calls upon it, Tarsa’s gives off that of a mythical being in resemblance to an otherworldly entity that seems to be very mischievous in nature with a desire to slowly torment those for her own amusement...plus I like how she just looks like a true villain to further show her unknown capabilities of bringing chaos and destruction, The Reaper’s just makes her look like a cool otherworldly creature with some vast powers that shows that their are some beings that you should never make an enemy of for it could be the last thing you'll ever do...plus it just looks interesting to see your take on the legendary Grim Reaper since its always exciting to see what the aspect of Death across the Multiverse would look like, Fear Herself’s makes her look like a dangerous and mysterious demonic being that's so mysterious that its definitely a force to be reckoned with as well as a creature to be truly feared for they could be unpredictable...plus I like how she has that almost classic demonic presence with that charcoal black skin and haunting yellow eyes and looks like she would fit perfectly in the role of someone who works from the shadows to further their own desires. This was an incredible video with some amazing designs and new bits of lore that will surly make the Multiverse Tales episode more intriguing. It would be interesting to see you do more things with these overseers; maybe turning them into superheroes, or dragons or even making armous for them, since I think that would be pretty interesting...plus if its the case for armours, I think Benny and Vasilia would have a blast, and it would be fun to see Benny and Vasilia come up with armour ideas based on some of these unique SCPs. I also love the fact that you left an interesting bit of info dure Tarsa's drawing where she was training a daughter and then immediately showed a picture of Astra...does this perhaps mean that Astra is Tarsa's daughter? If so, that would be very interesting to see how that plays out. I also can’t wait to see how Mara’s story continues in the multiverse tales episodes. Great job as always Christian and I can’t wait to see what you draw on Friday’s video.
P.s. do you think you could do a video of turning dinosaurs into mech armours? Cuz I want to see how Benny Sharp and Champagne McGregor would get along. Also do you think you could do a video we’re you turn Disney princesses into witches. Also could you try something with Apex Legends?
This is honestly one of my favorite multiverse tales so far. It was a perfect introduction to the Fear Herself and Tarsa in my humble opinion but it genuinely felt like she was exactly as despicable as Astra had said. I cannot wait to see the rest of this story unfolds

@@PopCross it’s fine. I was hyped when I realised who it was ahahaha
I expected something huge from this episode. Something that'd change my whole perspective on everything. This.....surpasses everything I could have expected from this episode. So much lore from across these dozens of episodes being tied together all at once through one character we knew so little about and two we've mostly just heard mentioned and expanded them so much into something much greater than I expected. I initially thought the reaper would be based on SCP-2935 more directly but they seem to be more than just that. Though I'm guessing she still is somewhat inspired by O, Death. Makes sense to tie it a multiverse spanning role rather than some individual in a singular universe.
As for Fear Herself, she seems even more unsettling than the Reaper honestly. She gives off an equally otherworldly vibe as the Reaper, hard to believe she's just an overseer. I get the impression she's more than just that, maybe she was something like those SCP Entities from Dresden's universe (not necessarily directly from there) who attained Overseer abilities. Honestly part of me wants to know her whole story, given how mysterious she is and how she's possibly been at this for even longer than Dresden.
As for Dresden himself, I only just barely put it together as I was watching that he shared a name with the Overseer Dresden and then it all suddenly fell into place perfectly. He basically has become a One-Man SCP Foundation through turning his homeworld into a massive containment cell. Wonder what he thinks of the alternate versions of the Foundation in Benny and Tayren's Universes? And Tarsa seems like a real piece of work, I imagine she'll be returning given she was fully drawn here and seems to be important to Astra as well.
One of your best episodes I've ever seen from the whole channel, really well put together honestly. I cannot wait to see how more of this story unfolds and how other parts of the greater story in the Multiverse Tales Saga unfold as well.

@@RandomGuy-nt1no As far as I remember, no Tarsa is still out there. This is the first we heard about her at least by name. I think she said that she unleashed the Kaiju in that world to try and do something like that but as far as I remember, we never had any confirmation as to whether Astra's mentor is dead or not.

@@RandomGuy-nt1no Given the format of the channel, it is possible she might be dead but we at least need that plot thread re-adressed to be certain. Like for example, Astra saying that Tarsa is dead definitely since I doubt Astra would of been careless enough to not confirm it herself
I think I understand his plan. He intends to have a favor from every Overseer, then somehow use all of those favors to either trap or kill all the Overseers.

The fact that so many things are being explained by this one episode, like why the curse was put on Mara and everything around Backcells Prison and it's creation. While still explaining Dresden's backstory, is remarkable! Your channel and all the stories keep on growing. Keep up the great work!

Since you released this episode and connected it to the multiverse tales, you have so many outcomes and so much potential for your channel. I hope you keep it up and I would love to keep supporting you (especially since the lore and multiverse tales got me dying to hear more)

Draw Phrases/Metaphors/Expressions as Demons or SCPs! Examples:
"Penny for your thoughts"- Demon has to have a penny and a brain in it
"Cool as a Cucumber"- A cucumber under extreme cold temperature
"When pigs fly"- self-explanatory
It was only a matter of time before someone wanted to commit genocide against the Overseers for everything they’ve done.
The expansions to overseer lore in this episode are super interesting and intriguing! Your multiverse has such cool lore. Tarsa's design is also suuuper cool

12:08 What would be his reaction to learning how her daughter literally raised hell to make sure she didn't have a good retirement but now Astra actually regrets what she did to the world? I doubt he would even believe the last part.
Oh he knows, and he has mixed feelings about Astra because of it. On the one hand, he likes that she tormented Tarsa, but on the other Astra did exactly the kind of thing he hates Overseers doing :P I'll elaborate more on this in an epsiode

Now this is an intense episode. Mara was made into a reaper hunter to kill the reaper, that is insane. I'm rather spooked by that.
So that's how BackCells Prison was made and why Fear Herself and Dresden are rather close.
Dresden Oakland makes Champaign McGregor seem cheerful in comparison. If Champaign heard about Dresden's life, he'd realize that he had it better than him.

We’ve seen things being turned into Demons and SCPs, but I was wondering… can we get SCPs as Demons? I’d like to see what you do with the uber dangerous Hard to Destroy Reptile and the absolutely adorable Tickle Monster and turn them into the different types of Demons.

good grief, Christian. you've really outdone yourself! this episode was a JOY to experience, the epic storytelling, the carefully monitored emotion you put into your words while voicing Dresden, the designs of characters from previous episodes (Gotta love the Reaper and Fear Herself!) and just watching everything come together after witnessing the culmination of it all, everything about this episode was top tier stuff- a representation of how far you've come in the past years! I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS EPISODE! Sincerely one of the best works of art I've seen on youtube, in every way imaginable.
Alright, I'm gonna try and take a shot in the dark here on what POTENTIALLY could happen, and if I'm wrong.......eh, whatever😅
Anyway, here's my theory/guess/shot in the dark/prediction: The "Sharp Gang" will lose their fight against Oakland and Fear Herself. Like, actually lose; not getting close to almost losing before suddenly gaining the upper hand, they WILL fail. I also think Cosmara will get taken over and corrupted by her curse, becoming an obedient pawn for Fear Herself, and she'll end up killing the current Reaper.
Things look bleak for our heroes; they're still recovering from the incredibly tense battle, one of them possibly in critical condition or on the brink of death... They've lost the battle, and they lost Cosmara... It looks like the bad guys have completely and utterly achieved victory, leaving the good guys to lick their wounds and wallow in their own sorrow... Although, a glimpse of hope comes through once Astra comes with a gift; after using a piece of the multiverse orb or calling in a favor or by sheer dumb luck, she's managed to locate someone who has been given the powers of The Reaper, [after the previous Reaper had been killed by Cosmara] and she rallies the team back to their feet as they still have a chance to save Cosmara and the multiverse. However, once they venture out and retrieve this new host of the Reaper's power and responsibility, things prove to be more difficult as this new host is not only reluctant to use their newfound power, but they're outright refusing to accept this as their new life... I mean, who wouldn't? They've had their own life planned out for so long, down to the last minute details, and now they suddenly need to throw all that away for an overbearing responsibility they never wanted, nor had a say in receiving?
The "Sharp Gang" would certainly have their hands full with training this new Reaper host and trying to convince them to use their power to help, especially since the whole "With Great Power..." speech isn't exactly working on this rather stubborn individual. But, the new Reaper is there only hope to save Cosmara and the entire multiverse, so they'll have to put up with them and keep trying until something gives...
Along the way, this new Reaper will learn to not let their sudden burden of responsibility define their life, but instead have it be there as a passenger. Afterall, you can still have your cake and eat it too. This new Reaper isn't going to give up the life plan they had laid out for themselves so easily; their goals aren't gonna achieve themselves, y'know? Whether they wanna go to college or get a normal job, heck, maybe they wanna get married and start a family; this new Reaper still wants to live life the way they want to, but they'll still use their powers [and their epic looking scythe] whenever they need to, but they won't plan on being a full-time "superhero", only being The Reaper when they're needed. The new Reaper has become a character allegory for freedom of choice, and they agree to help the "Sharp Gang" with saving Cosmara and the multiverse!
Main message: "Don't let curveballs ruin your life/guide your decisions. It's YOUR life, and YOU still have a say in what you want to do with it."
.......Aaaand, that's my shot in the dark/theory/guess/possible story pitch! 😄 I could be 100% wrong, but I'm still proud of coming up with this, and if it is wrong, then I'll just use this idea for my own story :P

Dude, that sounds AWESOME!!! I can't remember the last time the sharp gang ACTUALLY lost a fight in a video or got a bad ending or something, so that idea of them losing to Dresden is already more interesting than just having everything end all hunky-dory

This is definitely my favorite multiverse tales. The reaper looked awesome and so did fear, great job! :)
ontop of all the lore I loved that you where still able to keep Dresden looking like Doctor Oak while looking like something original
This is why Dresdan is one of the deepest characters to this day. The transition from a seemingly apathetic, closed off, “greater good” professor, slowly developing a distain for some of the more unethical practices, to this episode, highlighting his morality, however obscured it may seem. Finally, as we seen him truly caring about his friends and the innocent: “I was not going to give up on my world no matter what horrors came my way.” It all shatters. He loses them all. Broken, he progresses to villain, still employing a fractured version of past ethics, though to the degree that his old self would be appalled by. And he doesn’t notice. That’s the kicker. Then of course, he progresses to hero status. I just really love how much depth your work has, but Dresden in particular is special. A masterful work of art in storytelling. Bravo, hats off!
I swear this channel has made me love story writing more than I did before to the point that I am now in the process of creating my own world for a college project. I had already been working on this for some time but I was never fully committed to it. Now I'm finding more time to create my world and I'm doing so with more enthusiasm. Thanks of all the great content and tales each week and I can't wait to see Friday's episode!!

Fear Herself looks so cool, the Reaper looks so cool, Dresden looks so cool, THEY ALL LOOK SO BLOODY COOL! Also holy smokes, this video wasn’t a lore bomb, it was a lore Death Star. I’m especially terrified of what Fear Herself’s end goal in all this is, as I don’t think she’s in it for the betterment of the multiverse. I also REALLY loved how you made her name really glitchy while still making it legible, it gave me both the feeling of dread from knowing who it is while also conveying how powerful and scary she is. This was absolutely a top tier video, one of my new favourites on the channel! Keep up the truly stellar work!

So this is why SCP Dresden and overseer Dresden are so different, Overseer Dresden is decades, if not centuries older than his SCP counterpart and his reports are old recordings.

Man, I never considered the possibility of SCP connecting to the rest of the timelines, but you really made it work! My favorite of your stories is definitely the SCP line (especially Pokémon as SCP), so I'm really invested in how this all plays out.
Now I am thrilled for the community redraw. The story is indeed going to be one of the top ones in the Multiverse tales saga, this is the beginning of a new phase and I cant wait to see more of your work.
Including a Chainsaw man demons as Sea Monsters episode, even doe Denji is the most popular character, I know you can make a great work out of Ghost as a jellyfish looking Kraken that came straight out of the deep dark, Denji can be a flying shark creature, and Bombs can be a lizardfish like xenomorph monster.
