@@Darknss2Light Be married two years now Alhamdulilah 🤲🏼 Be prepared to put in alot of work though 😂 worth the effort but won't be for everyone. Rules changes in visas will make it that much more difficult for people.

Now that I am mentally prepared to make the step to get married, it's dawn on me. This process seems really long winded. Is there anyway I can connect with you for the proper ins and outs? Just to get an appointment at the embassy is hard enough. Not a single available appointment!?

You can apply for a duplicate copy of british birth certificate online if you have lost one. Usually takes 5 days to arrive in the post. The British person needs to apply directly to the local council of where there were born online. They usually have a section that says "Apply for copy of Birth Certificate" (cost is usually £10-15). The copy will be exactly like the original with all the security features
Original British Certificate are never given to anyone what you gave was a certified copy . The original is always kept with the registar in the UK if that was given out the goverment would have your brith certificate. You can order a original copy of the British Certificate online

OMG its so hard to get married in Morocco process is so hard, now i think its better to call my future wife on fiancé visa here in UK and marry her here.
Probably better but then you will have to pay more by changing the visa from fiancé to a spouse visa. Unfortunately all procedures are hard and expensive. Good luck 🤞

I hope your both doing very well. Since making this video 3 years ago, has the process for marriage between a resident morrocan and a British national changed? Was speaking to a friend few things have changed. I will be going in October 2023 for 10 days. Was hoping for the عقد نكاح with the woman I plan to marry In sha Allah. I don’t think in regard of marriage process there is any major changes but definitely big price increase on visa procedure

Did they do a pregnancy test at the health check? Also you husband can order a birth certificate online from the registry office of the town he was born in, as this was 3 years ago, you perhaps already have done this. Thanks.

Certificat of no impediment has changed with afidavit document . And its obligatory to take it from rabat embassy

Can you please tell me is the Islamic divorce certificate accepted by the courts or do you have to have the UK divorce papers. Unfortunately here you have to wait a minimum of 2 years before you can apply for a divorce process. Please can you let me know.

How to get certificate of residence when you have settled status in the UK? I did apply for it but HMRC replied me with the letter that they can only provide with certificate of residence when you needed it for taxation purposes not for getting married in Morocco. If you know how to get this certificate or there is an alternative certificate to prove your residence in the UK please let me know. Thank you!
You forgot to mention the 4 documents from the UK need apostiles from the FCO in the UK which costs around 30 pounds each. The letter of employment needs certifying from a notary or a practising solicitor before sending it to the FCO.

@@killermfg36 letter of no impediment, letter of employment, birth certificate and police acro check this is what i did with my first marriage in Morroco 5 or 6 years ago. I just got married again 2 months ago and it's a lot easier and you don't need apostiles for every document and you can do a basic DBS check and it only took me 3 or 4 days to get all my documents completed in Morocco.

I have been through this process years ago, I am sure it has not changed. It will take you a month and they will tie you up in papers and having to pay bribes. Good luck.

Regarding the criminal records check to marry in Morocco, which certificate does the British national have to get? Is it a "criminal records check for an overseas marriage" or a " criminal records check for immigration purposes"? Thank you Just a little bit confused because the one for immigration purposes is only if you are planning on moving abroad from the UK. Thank you
