The Vector was & is 1 of the greatest American muscle cars ever & the very 1st American supercar for the road! It's gorgeous wedge body just screamed"look at me!" Maybe the rims/tires and lighting could use updates (LED's only-not the way they are covered, U don't see that novelty anymore). Hell I doubt any rims available 2day would do it justice.... clear plexiglass?? Once again.... sabotage via press, & more! The horse & bull robbed us of the Cizetta & Vector like Shelby robbed us of the Cheetah!

That guy,Gerald Wiegert had very good idea,too bad he didn't had financial support.

Vector M12 - Lamborghini V12 Engine in 1995... 6. Vector SR V8 in later year... 7. Vector WX 8 in 2007 From the beginning, this supercar is already more than 50 years, but the LOOK still as fresh and could stand up against any of today's supercar... AMAZING ! .
I'd take a Vector over either of those other cars.. You could park that next to a pair of Bugattis and a Lamborghini Centenario and I guarantee no one would even be looking at the other cars.
The vector is such an amazing car, not a huge fan of the rear end but thats minor the car is gorgeous. I would love to see one race against the new cars just to see how it compares.

Vector prototype W2 came 5years after the Countash and the production car W8 came 15 years later. Either way great gathering indeed.

I think the last GOOD looking Ferrari was the F-40 although they are STARTING to look good again, while the Lambo's kinda lost their pizzaz when 'da Fatherland took them over. :( (IMHO)
The Vector looks pretty cool for being from an earlier era. It’s third on the list though and would easily get smoked by those other two cars. Both those other cars are naturally aspirated, have more horsepower, weigh much less, have active aerodynamics, suspension and ground effects that would plant them to the ground, and modern transmissions and gearing. It wouldn’t be close.
Bryan Harris vector did 255 mph and had a drag race custom 427 aluminium v8 that was indestructible plus twin turbos that could be dialed up to 1200 HP..so you are wrong

But the truth is none of them ever needed to be serviced. It was too good. Unlike ferraris lambos, that needed 20 thousand dollar service the vector didn't need much people say after owning the car for 10 years they only spend like 1 grand on it.

The Aventador doesn't know if its wants to be a "box or a curve" and the sleek "razor sharp" Vector has proven it has stood the test of time. There's no school like the "Old school". Well, the automotive "establishment" and the automotive press strongly consider top level performance and especially exotics to be the provence of Europe.....period. And they will swiftly attack any "nonauthorized" producer of higher performance (and $$$) exotic/super cars. The automotive establishment was hostile to Monteverdi which was from Switzerland 🇨🇭 What it really is, if you threaten to produce a product which surpasses "authorized" suprr car producers like Ferrari or Lamborghini they go into attack mode. But if you offer a product which provides super performance using MUCH simpler technology and is therefore more reliable/longer service cycles. The attacks get worse. And if you offer that level of performance at much LOWER cost, they go into riot attack mode. And they try to sic governments on you. So here comes Vector with 1200 HP out of a reliable, simple to repair and maintain American V8 Horrors!!! No wonder they also attacked Monteverdi. He broke in many ways broke the $$$ cost barrier for top performance GT.

Even though the car is over 10 years older the W8 almost looks current. The Non-compliant taillights are the only real give away.
