I feel so good and happy after watching your video! I’m really looking forward to you starting a travel agency, and to travel around the world with you! Every hotel is great, thanks a lot for sharing, really great job! 👍🥰👏
I LOOOOOVE the Ceviche from El Alquimista! Wish we were there now naked on the hammocks by the ocean, listening to the waves, enjoying the vista with the arch in the water to the right of rock blanca
I love this video. I haven't been to Zipolite, but can't wait to go. I was at a party this evening who just came back. He was there for the nudist festival and had pictures and was just raving about it. I love your videos catering to nudists as a nudist myself. I think I'd start at Hotel Nudista.
Been there three times. Mostly stay at Alquimista, due to the views from their suites, their beach section, the hammocks and the amazing restaurant. A close second and finally got to try out Casa Nudista the last time I went. Great hotel and yes the best place to meet friends quick with the breakfast area and amazing rooms there too. I hope to come back soon for a fourth and many more visits here. ❤❤❤
Actually, I just got back home from my first visit to Zipolite two days ago, and based on the recommendations provided by Andy and Trai in a previous video, I stayed at Casa Nudista -- and I was extremely pleased with my accommodations and the setting. I stayed in room #2 for seven nights, and I slept like a baby pretty much every night I was there (which is somewhat unusual for me when I travel). The morning croissant and fruit breakfast was actually quite good, and they get a lot of early-morning sun by the pool, so I was able to get a tan before I went out on the beach after lunch to get another tan! 😆. Lastly, because the hotel has a mixture of both decent private rooms as well as dorms (usually for backpackers), I really got to meet a great mix of friendly and social people from all over on my trip -- all really relaxing in a naked environment (the hotel, as you can probably tell by the name, has "nudity-required" policy which makes for a very open atmosphere). It's was my first visit to Zipolite, but definitely not my last and I am looking to go back during the same period next year!
Hi Andy and Trai. I enjoyed this video. Thanks. I have a question if you don't mind. Which airport did you guys fly into? How did you get from the airport to the hotel? Thanks to this video, I am considering a visit.
Thank you! We have our pro tips on where to fly into and best taxi prices on our blog! We prefer HUX over PXM but would take either if price is better. twogayexpats.com/destinations/mexico/gay-zipolite
HUX is newer and better. PXM is old and small so poor space for modern aircraft numbers. Taxi time is much the same. HUX airport is designed as thatched pyramids!
Also worth noting that Aikia, Kalmar, Casa Sol, Heven and Maquil are on a hill with many steps to the hotels and in the hotels so they are not disabled friendly.
Thank you!!! We made a video on air travel with your pet to and within Mexico! The PV airport is also very dog friendly with a pet relieve area well marked at customs and to the left when facing the entrance when you leave. Even the lounges accept pets we’ve found!! Thanks for the suggestions - you clearly love Zipolite and that comes across in your clips. I'm due there August '24 and really looking forward to it. Checking out Villa Aikia which had a couple of negative TA reviews but I suppose everyone has their own expectations etc. Your review of the property gave me back some confidence about booking there.
Our pleasure! Aikia was our first hotel experience on the hill back on our very first trip to Zipolite. We were welcomed with open arms. For this video, Daniel at the front desk was an absolute delight and gave us an incredible tour to highlight for the channel. We also didn’t reach out ahead so it was spur of the moment and authentic! You’ll find warm smiles and a relaxed atmosphere. @@TwoGayExpats I live in Orlando, FL. the only Gay nudist places I know are - Gay St Pete Resort in St Pete, and Sawmill Campground in Dade City, FL...and few in Key West - but on certain seasons. Love to check out Mexico someday.
@@KonKan25 We love Orlando and had a great time at Sawmill too! We made a video on it if you haven’t seen it: SAWMILL CAMPGROUND - Gay Camping [Gay Couple's First Time] th-cam.com/video/QU6z7SE_8kk/w-d-xo.html Same for Island House in Key West which is a favorite: ISLAND HOUSE - Gay Hotel Review [KEY WEST, FLORIDA] th-cam.com/video/S1oo1Zkez7U/w-d-xo.html And we haven’t been to Gay Tampa/St. Pete yet as a couple, but it’s on our travel list for when we find a good deal and time to visit! Thanks again for sharing!! 🙏❤
I'm fascinated with this. As a person who'd wear a burqa if it was socially acceptable, I'm like: who are all these people that want to hang out naked?? But I guess there are lots of them! To each his own. These hotels (and Zipolite) look lovely.
It’s clothing optional and after 5-minutes your first time, you don’t even think about it anymore. You’ll be surprised with how easy it is to talk to people! It’s kind of amazing! 🙌
We would prioritize the properties a bit differently with Casa Sol added as #1. The newer adjoining sister property of Maquil would also be on the list. Both properties are owned by the same gay couple who own/operate The Red Tree House hotel in Mexico City. Hospitality is the DNA of all three of their properties. While Villa Aikia is certainly an acceptable property, we found it tired and service wasn't the best. We stayed there for a month and only had breakfast twice and lunch once. We found service lacking and quality of food underwhelming. Naked was often our go-to breakfast spot and we completely agree with your assessment of that property.
Thanks for sharing🙏🙏🙏 Great recs❤️🙌🍑🏳️🌈 And we didn’t number these this time, we just presented them in random order as we re-visited each hotel. We also love Casa Sol as another nudist option! And their newer property Maquil is amazing! We love their restaurant and views! We also agree it’s a more upscale experience than Villa Aikia, but different price points for sure. And we’ve never seen anyone naked at Maquil in dozens of visits, but maybe you guys have had a different experience? Also, we were at Naked this year for the nudist festival, and we really love the rebuild, expanded menu and excellent service!! Wow 🤩
Casa Sol and Maquil are lovely, but only a small clothing optional area at the lower pool at Sol. It is also almost impossible to book as it books up a year ahead.
You might add that Zipolite has so many great gay masseurs and you can go to them or they come to your hotel. So many gay run cafes. It is great to be in a smaller beach town where there are as many if not more gay guys visiting.
They vary widely depending on season and room type. Check them out on our website with all the links: twogayexpats.com/destinations/mexico/gay-zipolite
Very diverse. More so than anywhere we travel. Age ranges and all body types too. It’s a very welcoming place and easy to meet people from all over the world. We wouldn’t hesitate to add Zipolite to your travel list. It’s also affordable and caters to everyone regardless of budget 🙏🙏🙏
Most of the buildings here have a thatched roof and they are low rise. Many roads are dirt tracks. No McDonalds or Starbucks which is why I like it. The beach is called the beach of the dead. Good for surfing. Has dangerous undertows.
El Alquemista is a great location, expensive food compared to the rest of the village, you need to wear clothes in hotel and restaurants, but naturist right in front. Nude and Naked are competing with each other for the loudness of music, and people who stay there complain about the noise til 5am. Unless you are in the Ocean front rooms, the other rooms have a very restricted view. Villa Aikia is gay owned. You missed Heven which is also gay owned and you can be naked anywhere in the hotel. No AC though.
Thanks for sharing. And we need AC in Zipolite for sure, so everywhere on our list has it! The only place we could live without AC in Mexico is CDMX and nearby San Miguel, or Querétaro (of the places we’ve been). Safe travels! 🙏🙏❤️🏳️🌈
Don’t have to and we haven’t had to cross that bridge yet re: passport. But I assume as residents we could just renew at the embassy in Mexico. If you’re not a temp or perm resident, you would have to leave Mexico after 6 months. But they have offered amnesty programs and such since Covid. Hopefully that answers your question!
We’ve had that experience before too! But having lived in Zipolite for many months, each week brings a different crowd! At least you always have Playa del Amor and the beach in front of El Alquimista to swim and sunbathe naked with others!! 🍑
Given they are nudist hotels, we film very early in the morning before the pools and beach clubs get busy (in the afternoon). I assure you these hotels were at 90-100% capacity as it was high season!

We personally know the owners of many of these hotels so not sure what you are talking about??? And one of them you can stay at for less than $40/night so maybe you didn’t watch the video? 🤷♂️
Your comment is very inappropriate. Furthermore, Oaxaca is not even within the drug route to US. I guess you're the typical gringo who thinks his country is the safest in the world but dies anywhere from a crazy gun shooter. Hilarious!
I checked on Kayak and the most expensive hotel was $180 and most were $80-120, you are the second person this week that commented how expensive it is. When I went the in the early 90s the only place we could find was $10/night so yes, prices have gone up but...
