  • Finally! Tutorials are back! Since transitioning back to the states I found myself dragging my feet about starting these again especially while I was starting up my business and getting my website launched. I think the main thing was I knew I would have to figure out my filming setup - BUT I think this first one turned out pretty good! Pretty please- some feedback would be extra appreciated from you like...
What do you think of the background? I can always change out the surface I'm working on and I want to know if it was easy to see me working and just in general...is it pleasing to your eyes?
I know that the introduction shot- the lighting is weird and it looks foggy- the rest of the video looks okay to me.
How was the sound? I'm still struggling a bit in my editing phase to make sure my voice is clearly heard- what about my music choices and sound level during the sped up moments?
I want to make sure these tutorials work for you! So don't hold back- every suggestion just means improvement!
    .
In this tutorial I'll take you through an easy technique to learn how to make a tree of life pendant!
    You might need...
    16 gauge (or thicker) wire
24 gauge wire (28 will work also)
    Seed beads of your choosing
20 gauge wire for optional top spiral decor
    Tools:
    cutting tool
    pliers
bail making pliers OR round nose pliers OR a pencil to form the bail
If you want to patina your piece check out my other tutorial

Love the dark wood background, makes it easier to see what you are doing, and it looks more natural and organic. Which makes it very grounded and natural.

Yes, something dark is best for displaying jewelry and tutorials. Makes it easier to see. Thanks for sharing. Very pretty.❤

I love watching your tutorials. I am a beginner. Over the last 2 weeks I must have watched over 30 tutorials and I found that you are the best. Everyone else I watch that claims beginner I can't seem to follow. I did follow your spirals tutorial and after 3 tries they came out perfect. I will be watching all your tutorials. I love that you go slow and take the time to describe each step. I want to make your sun burst earrings and this tree of life pendent. Going know to buy 16 gauge wire now. I just had to let you know I love your videos. Thank you

I love how you start your tutorial with a bit of smudging. As for the wooden table I think that's perfect especially since you are creating a Tree. As far as I'm concerned the lighting works fine for me. It's warm and clear. Thank you! 🌺

Trees are not symmetrical in nature anyways. And perfect looking items look factory made/mass produced.
I like the unique one of a kind look.

One of the best Tree of Life tutorials, thanks so much, and I also love those Xuron tools, especially the needle nose pliers, a dream to work with. I was wondering if you had a similar tutorial with the ‘roots’ of the tree? Thanks so much! Can’t wait to try this. Also what size seed beads did you use? They look like size 8 (possibly size 6) Czech beads?

    • @TheSirenandThePirate
      @TheSirenandThePirate  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Yes I love the tools too! I’m definitely going to be making a tutorial with the roots of the tree next!

Great tutorial! FYI - I'm not sure anyone else had this experience, but the audio was quite a bit louder when the music phased in. I had to adjust the volume each time you transitioned to music. Definitely noticeable with a headset on.
