DAWG. We getting DAWGS on this team ever since AB and KS man I love it. We got players with that dawg mentality they wanna be great. Delpit, Hall, Bookie, Thornhill. I love the personalities we’ve meshed into our culture. Delpit was the only Dawg we had as far as that grit and the way he carried himself and we starting to add more j love it
@@TheDawgsPodcast Think this is the most anxious and anticipated season in my life just because I see us having sustained success and instead of going back downhill ik we will only build on last years momentum
Same! Walker and Takitaki played great for us, but Walker's health was unfortunately always a question. Hicks will be a great player for Jim Schwartz, and Bookie has the potential to be even better as he plays, learns and develops over the next couple years. And don't sleep on Devin Bush recapturing his potential too on this defense.
I said it all year they need big baby so them teams want just be picking on them now lets see if he has that Dawg Pound DNA. Jim Swartz will definitely bring it out of him if its there
Great interview. Always great content. 👏👏 Thank you Dawgz. Now where can we get a big head Myles Garrett doll. He sits there over your shoulder every week and I swear I laugh every time, as if I've never seen it. Oh how can I forget WELCOME TO THE BROWNS BOOKIE!
This is a no risk, high reward pick to me. A 6th round pick that produced consistently in the SEC. His sideline to sideline speed ain’t the best & he’s a bit slow tracking, but no one gets through him. If he can be even 25% better than Taki, this is an absolute steal. With our culture the last few years I feel his off field issues won’t be a problem. This guy would be arrested during OTAs on the 2000s Browns teams, Berry & Kev have established a healthy culture imo & won’t be a problem. Welcome to CLE Bookie!
He made it sound like those off field things were when he was younger and less mature, which is what I figured when I read about them. I think he’s going to be a huge piece of this defense over the course of his career.
@@TheDawgsPodcast yeah I’m not concerned with the off field issues of the past to be honest, I’m just stating it because I feel that’s what dropped his stock. Just like Dawand last year, we have benefited from other organizations assuming these players have issues beyond football.
He’s such a good freaking player, and to get him in the 6th round…I think people will quickly realize how good he is. Emerson in the 3rd, Dawand in the 4th, Bookie in the 6th…could be 3-straight first round talents we didn’t need a 1st round pick to get.
Yes he was, and 30% of the NFL is made up of undrafted players. So Draft capital is certainly not the defining thing for an NFL player. I think the number is only 43% of 1st round picks sign a 2nd contract with the team that drafted them.
correct me somebody a "Bookie" is a guy who loans money to people who bet on sports "Boogie is just a cool guy that knows how to Boogie which meant party and have fun back in the day! so which is it Nate? I LOVE THIS ADDITION!

Well said! These guys CAN play and they WANT to be dominant. I can’t wait to watch this team in 2024.

I believe they upgraded at the lb position with Hicks and Watson.

If the Browns can add Danny Stutsman from Oklahoma in next year's draft. Wow.The future is set for a long time at that position.
Josh
Really enjoyed it and hearing about him not just as a player but as a person.
I love getting to know these guys deeper than just football.
Agree. It’s nice to see more of the person and what makes them tick and what they feel they need to work on the most.
Love the cast. I am Pa and I get alot of my Browns content from you all. Keep up the good work. Appreciate ya
That means a lot, and we appreciate you! GO BROWNS!
Definitely in-depth!

Much appreciated! So you like the Myles Garrett doll? 😂
@@TheDawgsPodcast 😆 love it. Honestly the entire set screams dedicated fan base, bordering on fantastical. Keep doing it big. 💪
Well we definitely are die-hard Browns fans. We appreciate you!

Nice pick in ota

Great point.
Sounds like a draft steel!
We think he very well could be!
Watson is the best Linebacker in College football no doubt about it
