- The AMX 50 B is a true Schrödinger's tank. Not the best, not the worst. It's special. It's the fastest Tier X heavy tank with peculiar French armor. Add an autoloader to it, and you get an ideal weapon for destroying enemy vehicles. Change flanks, cut behind the enemy lines, shoot at heedless opponents, and finish them off with a ram. In skillful hands, The AMX 50 B can become a real nightmare for the enemy. This video will dispel all your doubts about researching this interesting vehicle. Good luck on the battlefield, tankers!

I just asked my self who is that familiar voice :)
In reality it had 170mm of front turret armor, wich was good because of the shape of it, but strangely ingame it only has 120mm armor, that's weird.
There's also been an heavy armored version of this tank, that was called AMX 70 t.
It had over 210 mm front armor on his turret and hull, and was using the same weapon system as the AMX50b.
It would just be great to put it in the game, this way you would have a "fast" AMX50b, and a "heavy" AMX50b.
When the French tanks finally arrived in WoT Blitz (I didn't have a PC to play regular WoT)

The tanks were fast heavies with "medium" style armor, except it was still a heavy so it was huge with good amounts of HP
So I played the tanks like heavy support for mediums and heavies, but never front lined it
And apart from this video, every "How to" video released by the Wargaming YT channels I would binge watch learning basics that other YTers had a hard time explaining. And to this day, I still occasionally watch these videos for nostalgia, or if I got massacred 5 matches in a row and needed a reminder to stop rushing alone

what if you join a random battle, and randomly you find a platoon of AMX 50b charging at your centurion or any other tier 8-9 med that can't run away from a AMX 50b.

Ethan Pang remember, you are facing three. let's say each has a 60% chance to have a full autoloader, and 20% being empty, to spice things up. everyone, incl. you, are loaded with some standard AP.

The ram thing works effectively only on some TD, Lights, Mediums and obviously SPG's

Jus thnk of the French Heavies as mediums. No armour but speed. Maybe thats why the french meds are so few in number

In the pike nose, maybe. But the contact points would be quite small for both tanks since the shapes are roughly similar. So I think both tanks will suffer equally.

Il a existé en version "surblindé" le nom du projet était AMX 70T.
En parlant de l'AMX50b, dans le jeu il est moins blindé que la vrai version qui a 170mm de blindage tourelle frontal, contre 120mm seulement dans le jeu, ce qui est complètement ridicule pour un char classifié comme "lourd".
