You put me on to engineer boots through your videos, at first I wasn't a fan of the look but I started to appreciate them more when I saw the different styles, the different toe box shapes, and the way they aged. Changed my whole perspective really.
I just started my apprenticeship with a legendary cowboy boot maker that worked 18 years for "Lucchese" boots. Then he started his own boot company. That was 30 years ago. So he's been crafting boots for about 50 now. What kind of advice can you give a new apprentice?
A great insight to someone with great teachers and great work ethic. Buy the best parts to make the best stuff. I reckon I'm a bit old to get boots made but if I was 30 years younger I'd have Role Club boots. You are a great advert for younger people, dare I say it....a great Role Model. Shine on Brian
