Excellent video. I like how you covered everything including things other reviewers didn't such as video and audio playback. I wanted to see how well hose worked. The mp3 playback seems fine, but the video playback probably needs re-encoding. I really like this device,, my only nitpicks are that I wish the screen was at least 3" and it had a direct headphone jack.

Almost 30 seconds showing the keychain that most people won't use?! 0:57 to 1:23

wtf? the keychain is the most important aspect of this product, it is meant to be used as a key chain and I tested if it is really solidly built

Up to 2.5 hour battery life is good? Lol. I'm old enough to remember when these things would last for 10 to 40 hours, and we could even easily swap out the AA or AAA batteries when needed. If only this device used something like AAA batteries, the short battery life wouldn't be such a deal breaker. It sucks how far we have regressed when it comes to battery technology.

      But look at the size
Something this small lasting that long is more than enough
And as I've said you wont be playing for 2 or 3 hours on this, just small gameplay sessions here and there
If you want to sit for 10 hours on a device then get the rg 505 that one has an incredible battery life lasting around 20 hours depending on the game

@@VKsChannel AAA batteries are small too. Even if you had to make it slightly larger, it would be worth it. Again, I hate how batteries are worse now. AA and AAA batteries are so much better than these dumb built-in batteries.

You’re waxing nostalgic for an era where devices drew less power, not when batteries were magically “better” than they are now

@@alechemythe chance of getting g more then 1 aaa battery in here is unlikely, plus people really don’t like batteries these days. It’s a pain

@@Midori_Hoshi 1) Yes, making it larger would let you put normal batteries in it. However, that would defeat the entire purpose of this device, which is to be incredibly small. If you want something larger, buy something larger. There's no shortage of options and all the larger options have significantly longer runtimes. This thing is the size of two AA batteries as it is, and that's the entire reason for its existence.
      2) Trying to run one of these devices off of AA batteries would shock you with how quickly they'd drain. The Gameboy lasted for ages because it was intentionally built to be incredibly weak and low power EVEN FOR THE TIME. Lynx and Game Gear were its contemporaries and were significantly more powerful with stronger processors and illuminated color screens, but they devoured AA batteries like nobody's business six at a time. There's a reason that, barring the short-lived Japan-only Gameboy Light, there were no portable systems from Nintendo with illuminated screens until the GBA SP... which was the first one to ditch AA / AAA batteries and go with a built-in rechargeable one instead. That wasn't a coincidence.
