Hey Jeanette I loved the live. There is a way to get your letters vertical. You type them using single line text. Look down where you see the word style. It will be in normal mode. Click the down arrow then you hit the word vertical and your text will change to vertical. This only works when you are in single line mode. It does not work in multi line mode..I learned this from watching Lisa Shaw. She has a video on the Embrilliance you tube channel about short cuts

Sorry, Jeanette I don’t get to see your live video very much due to the 5 hour time difference here in Scotland but always watch the next morning. Another brilliant topic. ☺️

Hi Jeanette great video…!!! To get vertical text in Essentials click arrow on the “Style” box that’s located under the “Font” box “Vertical” should be the second one select that style then type what want in the “Text” box your text will then show in the vertical position…

You should do a video on the stacked embroidery font, the one like design space n silhouette has for vinyl only this is embroidery, I have the fonts and I love it, I love doing a word and how it splits in half down the top and bottom (all the same word) I haven’t seen a single video out there on doing this font. It’s going to get big soon I’m sure and I learned it myself which was very easy because wary sells the font with it split already for you! It’s not the stacked monogram!! It’s a stacked alphabet

Great instructional on fonts. Mine doesn't have the line called "font" with an "i." Is it because you have an additional module in Embrilliance? I have Essential and Enthusiast. That's amazing how easily you created a shadow - wow! The shadow and different color effects are gorgeous.

Hi Janice. I thought that was standard. This function showed up when I purchased the Merrowly Patches module.

@@BoricuaSewingCrafts That helpful function must be part of the Merrowly Patches module. I'll add that to my "wish list."

Hi! Thanks for the Stahls tip! I’ve been having a hard time finding a good twill for patches!
I am making patches with a twill material - but I think it is thinner than the red one you showed us. I have been using 1 sheet of tear-away stabilizer and the material looks wavy (not flat) between the design and the border. I am careful to pull the twill tight when hooping … but not tooooo tight to make it stretch. It does have a little stretch to it.
Do you have any ideas on how to get rid of the wavyness? I’ve tried 2 different twills.
    Would a Cut-away stabilizer help?
Or maybe the poly-twill in your video?
    Thanks! :-)

Hi Raw Toast. I don't use stablizer for my patches. Just the poly-twill. After I am done I put heat and bond on the back of the patch. It could be the type of twill you are using. I'm also thinking it might be the design. I would try to stitch it out on scrap fabric first to see how it looks. It could be that the design is very dense.

Miss Jeanette what if we don’t have the density repair kit? How do we get rid of the extra stitches? At this time the kit is a bit on the pricy side for me.

Jeanette, hope I’m not getting ahead of you in the video, but, I wonder if you can help me with fonts that I’ve purchased. I use the Embrilliance program for doing embroidery. Can you tell me how to get the font designs I’ve purchased on to the Embrilliance program? I only have the beginning level of Embrilliance. It’s a shame to not be able to use the extra fonts when creating a design, just because I don’t know how to load them onto Embrilliance. Really appreciate all your helpful suggestions! We , I, have a lot to learn! ❤
