I think you can also jump onto O'rin's head from behind like Mario to get a deathblow on her if you...value your priceless ceramic shards that much. Plus you can stand behind her and tilt your camera angle up to see her pretty face under that flowerpot before brutally tearing her apart. I call this the otaku strategy
For anyone still interested. I got mist noble on my first try. I will admit that I had read that he was supposed to be a very hard boss so I was super careful. Popped up the red attack sugar. After first deathblow I simply used double ichimonji which almost broke his posture, then one simple hit unlocked the deathblow marker and done.
Died a million times against Orin of the Water trying to reproduce Cowboy's flawless deflections from the Walkthrough. In the end hit her with sabimaru to poison her once in each phase. This slows her posture regen enough that it was easy to kill her after several head-bounces.
I gotta take a moment in watching so far, And so i can beat Giraffe myself before continuing the vid at him, Because it has been difficult finding a gud boss/or mini boss order online, So mad props dood!
That O'Rin Ceramic Deathblow was mind boggling. Wish I had known. Then again I used the Uber-Cheese of aggroing her over to the bridge where she never attacks and just backs up to build up for both my Deathblows.
I tried that but she ended up falling into the river and dying. I had to reset her by resting at an idol. She isn't particularly hard if your deflection game is on par. The Corrupted Monk in the area near her was more difficult for me.
The mist noble is the only one I would recommend using a Yashiraku Sugar even to beginners, because it's cut down the R1/hits you have to get after the death blow to 2 or 3, making the fight very fast. Then you just wait until the buff runs out and heal up.
I like that the Shichimen is like.. one of two enemies in the entire game that the "Anti Air Deathblow" actually works on. Makes the fight super easy if he does that floating jump.
Funny that you included them all as post-Genichiro fights, I beat them all, with the exception of the Schicimen Warriors and I did it before I even knew where the Genichiro fight takes place. lol
You can certainly fight her earlier, but given right after the gunfort is the Centipede and you need the gunfort key it just seems easier to knock em out after Genichiro since you can continue proceeding deeper.

I only look at these for the ones I have gotten stuck on. I couldn’t work out how to get in the mist noble temple so I stopped the vid when that came up. I was totally expecting a super hard fight after he said that. But he went down easy, so easy that I was expecting some illusion magic ambush or revival
I messed O Rin up with the mortal blade. Had no clue about the secret way to back stab her had I known that I'd have killed her quicker..she was a true pain lost count of the losses I had to her
I had 5 minutes to waste the poison snake eyes cuz that's exactly what I did even before your guide came out. It just kind of happened that way and I realized oh s*** she's actually getting poisoned

O'Rin can be cheesed by going to the bridge. Waiting for her on the second stair and waiting for her attack + pariying it. When she does she goes over the second stair and her AI breaks, as long as you keep attacking her and dont let her get on the bride she wont attack. So just break her posture and bam.

Does any1 know if it is still possable to get a stealth blow on O'Rin of the Water anymore or did they patch that out? I have tried multiple times to get a stealth blow marker but it never appear no matter how close or what angle i use. And before ppl comment yes i do hit her with the shard to try and trigger her.
How the hell you poison enemies? With lvl 1 upgrated sabimaru it takes like 4 full combo hits to poison anyone plus enemies conter you mid-combo easily.
10:09 for drunkard, charm the gunner monkey on top, kill the other monkeys below and have the drunkard in the middle, each time the munkee shots him it will probably call his attention so you can attack him from behind 😂
Did they bother with any attack animations for the Most Noble? Killed it within about 10 seconds, easiest enemy in the game. A shame because the enemy design looked cool.
The opening death blow on Orin did not work for me. I'm wondering if they patched it or if it just doesn't work on xbox. Anyways the other tips were still extremely helpful I was able to beat her my second attempt.
ABUSE?? Thisbgame abused the hell outta me my first play through but I beat it just by figuring it out lol i’m watching this now after years later because I just like playing and fighting in this. It’s all fun but the bosses take the fun away from it after many attempts against them. So now I’m going to enjoy abusing the hell outta the game and have more fun
This minni Boss does so redicolous damage To health and especialy orin to the Posture Bar. On Max difficulty you die from one attack Pattern from orin. Thats not balanced haha

the second pattern is a quick 1 2 3 and a perilous sweep. Learn that and you're golden

Don't use projected force, it cancels your divine confetti after you use, though if you're using it for a final deathblow go ahead.
Divine Confetti Required for AA Deathblow...I was hitting him multiple times in the air before finding this out. AADB only works in phase 1

I got the anti-air death blow but it never seems to work. I just killed the schichimen dudes with ako's and confetti.

Jumping has a greater chance of causing aggro if you fuck up tho, shard is safer.

Rin wasn't all that hard, it's just the fact that she deals so much posture damage that she makes it seem impossible.
Around 7:30 you can hear what he said by slow down the speed by 0.5 lol his voice sounds funny
