    - ABOUT THIS VIDEO -
Say goodbye to the pen and paper since there is a new way to express your ideas. The development of technology in our lives is tremendously fascinating, and many people believed that we would never be able to draw on a tablet.
Some sketching tablets lack screens, in contrast to normal tablets. They actually act more like a sheet of virtual paper that transmits pressure from the pad to the computer that powers it. These tablets can be computers, plain sketching pads, or regular tablets, among other things.

I gave up trying to find an affordable upgrade to my Cintiq 13HD -- Ended up with a 32 inch 4K monitor which I calibrated with a colorimeter, and went back to my Intuos Pro 5 med. No more shrimp neck, and my art looks fantastic on a huge, calibrated display.
Got the monitor refurbished, so it was very cheap!

This Wacom Cintiq 16 Drawing Tablet is really the best! The size, design and build quality exude class and quality and the pen and pressure sensitivity are the best in class.

Love my iPad for illustration but my eyes are straining now. I definetly will consider larger screen tablet to continue creating digital art or will need to create my work the traditional way.

Wacom or Apple are not the best of anything unless you are rich and got money to burn. If you're an artist then this is likely not the case for you. The best options for the money are Huion or XP-Pen.

Yeah, you can litterally get superior screen and screen size on for Huion kamvas22plus with the budget of cintiq16, which is a 22inch vs 16inch and much better screen and very similar experience for about only 60% of the price.
The funny part is, I think Huion tablet quality is actually superior in term of heat and thickness in the same price range. I was a Cintiq user, but after I switched to Huion, Oh man, I know this company going to beat Wacom so hard that Wacom will someday stop being an asshole vampire in the industry.

    • @Zeriel00

@@user-yt5xc2sn3d I got a small XP-Pen and it has been amazing for only 300$. These new companies are making display tablets affordable for normal people and it shows what big of a scam Wacom and Apple are running. XP Pen doesn't have a 4K screen yet so I was thinking about saving for a Huion Artist Pro 4K but I was also waiting to see if they release a newer model because its like 3 years old.

I'll keep this short...I love, love, LOVE this tablet. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxLNmVocUk8tnSkwWIlYSNFzWRIaFTBuzS The picture quality is amazing and there are so many features that this technodino can't wait to learn! My only (very, very minor) complaint is that I ordered this in bronze and they sent me black. Yes, it should have been corrected, but we were only in country for a short period of time and I didn't want to run the risk of not getting a new one in time. I'm such a fan of Samsung Galaxy tablets that I'd rather suck it up than lose out on having it. In the big scheme of things, this rates an irritant factor of .0000000001 out of 1000. In other words, I'm not looking at the colors when I use it, so I got over it very easily.

I have a Huion Kanvas 13 drawing thing which I have zero idea how to get this to be a drawing pad and will probably have to return. Im new to this. I want a device that doesnt have to be tied to any other thing and thats going to be a drawing pad within minutes of me taking it out of the box, not several days of trying to decipher inadequate user manuals. And a good one that feels like Im drawing on paper with pen or pencil. Does anything like that exist?

The only considerable option is #1 and #2 , get a second hand if you can, it'll still be much more worth while than #3 and #5 .
-XP Pen has low responsiveness, which mean if you cannot do high speed sketches and expect same output as in paper, you'll line WILL be simplified, much the same when you turn on ''line smoothing' or 'line stabilizer' in TVPaint or Clipstudio, except... you CANNOT turn it down.
-Gaomon PD1161 has LOTS of issues, magnetic deadzone on the buttonless corner , and pen offsets issues , you'll need to do so much mental gymnastic, you might as well be using monitorless graphic tablet, oh and line is always shakes and squiggle unless you turn on pen stabilizer so high its like you're drawing with curve tool.

I like digi art but the genuine article always beats it all.
Digi means fast and convenient and too easily to be mass produced as well as easy to steal.
When the lights go out permanently then certainly not going to cry and wine lol.

That's a lot of dumb reasons you put forth. They're essentially the same skill set, the only downside I can see is the undo button that most pens have which a lot of digital artists use a sort of crutch. Depending on what sort of pencils/pens they have at their disposal, a digital artist can can draw on about the same level when doing it on paper.
