I had to watch this video as part of my curriculum and assignment. I'm so pleased to have watched this video because it has allowed me to have more insight into Integrative Medicine. Andrew does a great job of defining this in a very precise way. I look forward to reading some of Andrew's work and expanding knowledge.

This is perfect! Integrative medicine is the future for sure. That is my goal. What may work for one may not work for another. So having different ideas come together is great.

Find out how John D. Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie tried to get rid of holistic medicine so that they could sell patented drugs. Look up Abraham Flexner. Mainstream medicine is very corrupt.

@@user-kl4rt2yf1r I don’t much about the educational process of Integrative Medicine. I know that the University of Arizona , Johns Hopkins, and a few other universities have an Integrative Medicine program.

I appreciate the foundations that you have established in the healthcare community. I feel worn by Integrative medicine, one professional acting in both roles of modern and well everything that isn't modern medicine. When I look to the future after finishing my undergrad and going on to medical school. I see a clinic that invites many different modalities to practice patient-centric under one roof. I see a peer who leans strongly to modern medicine and another peer who leans to diet and another of practices bodywork and myself in natural medicine. An Integrative approach of checks and balances. However, in my opinion with all respect, I'm not sure if this is a statement or more a question for you. What keeps an individual balanced between modalities if they are all of the above?

The Integrative medical field is something that should be used more often as not only does it focus more on the patient and not on the illness but it also takes the views of patients that come from cultures with very specific medical views and takes them into consideration.

Sadly not until this mindset is expressed and cultivated at the medical school level will it ever gain any serious ground. I agree 100% with what he's saying but it has to start with the student not the doctor.

Integrative medicine to me is a good idea for people who are wanting to start healing in a more whole understanding of both kinds of medicine. I believe it gives a patient a wide variety of options and learning opportunities to see which one is better for their personal needs.

Integrative medicine is becoming the future. I have been taking small pieces of information over the years and decided that this is where I belong. Finding what medicine heals while also making you feel better. Meaning limiting side affects or taking medication forever.
