@@justchangedmyname8259 Canon Ink can care about others. Why do people seem to think a Ink that cares is immediately not canon ? The only way he wouldn''t care is if he is empty/doesn't have his vials in his system right now. In his canon, he does show genuine real emotions. Comyet showed his genuine fear and panic to being locked up in the Antivoid, she has made a comic where his dad died and he broke down in tears. Ink is "fair" in his job, not giving favor treatment to loved ones, nor cruel one to those he may have a dislike of, but it doesn't mean he doesn't care. If you did any small reaearch on Ink on Comyet's blog you would see that. Ink may have a different way from the others to have emotions, but it does not make them any less real.

His father figures died and he miss them very much but yknow that Ink doesnt really have a connection to every single version of his friends (multiple version of them that are pretty much the same) he does care but not that much because they are still alive in another part and he can just meet them again. But thats my pov in the character of ink tbh hes complicated (btw you seem to have bottled up frustrations in the misunderstanding of ink... dont take it on me dude.) Sorry for any mistakes its not my native language and i hope i didnt come off as rude to you, ill also enjoy to know more about what you think of ink! Hes interestings to say the least
@@justchangedmyname8259 No, you are right that he may be a bit more emotionally distant with those who have other timelines (like Blue, mainly) but unless there are multiple version of Dreamtale in a single multiverse (which is rarely done) or that we are in a cycle caused by a neutrall ending, given there is only one Dream, I think he may care.
