Dr. Berg - Don’t forget about the benefits to breastfeeding mothers. Women who are prone to clogged ducts, mastitis, and lactational abscesses benefit greatly from (sunflower) lecithin. It keeps the milk slightly thinned out so the milk doesn’t back up and cause clogged ducts. :)

I have a tablespoon of soya lecithin every day. I take it mainly for cholesterol so this is very interesting because it is in a lot of stuff. I heard 80% of soya is GMO in America. I am very careful with soya for this reason. No idea it had so many benefits including reversing a fatty liver so learned a lot from Dr Berg but I’m always learning from Dr Berg. The again, I need to eat more eggs so I’m going to try that. I know Dr Berg eats four eggs a day.

I use a LOT of sunflower lecithin. Have used it all my life in almost all of my savory recipes. I've been on the keto diet for about 26 years and I am now 72 years old. I can STILL turn cartwheels on my back lawn with my grandchildren. Not simply because I use lecithin, but because I adhere to the keto diet and use nootropics and other natural health foods. But best of all is what I DON'T eat... sugars... of any kind. I'm lucky because I don't like sweet foods. Even as a child, if I tasted something sweet I would spit it out. It tasted disgusting to me and still does. There is no reason to eat anything sweet.

I have taken Lecithin capsules for 30 years, along with capsules of a herbal liver builder/cleanser. My doctor told me that I am the only woman he knows of, who has had as many children as I have, who still has her gallbladder. It has become a habit, but sometimes I forget how many wonderful things Lecithin does. On the other hand I get headaches when I eat eggs. I can get away with eating yolks once a week, but not everyday. Eggs everyday make me feel heavy. Since a child I only ate the yoke. I found out that a biotin deficiency causes this problem with eggs. Seems strange since I have taken brewers yeast (which is Vita B) tabs for just about as many years as the Lecithin. So now I take biotin separately. Our bodies are unique. Do you have an idea on why I cannot get biotin out of a good quality brewer's yeast?

I went down a rabbit hole with this and arrived at Lecithin. I've been supplementing Choline with GPC Choline and Citicholine and I have been supplementing Trimethylglycine (Betaine). I was generally researching my supplements as I tend to do, and I learned that Choline is Betaine with an extra methyl group (Tetramethylglycine vs Trimethylglycine). I learned there is a form of Choline with a fat particle attached (Phosphatidlycholine), and that there is large amounts of Phosphatidlycholine in Lecithin. Could I just take Lecithin as a supplement and knock out possibly three other things from my supplement list?

Anymore, it is not unusual for chickens to have salmonella and be acceptable for the USDA (wow how our standards have declined) and they simply advise consumers to thoroughly cook chicken and it kills the bacteria, so the eggs could easily be contaminated too and not know it.

I started taking soy lecithin every day back in the 1990's because it's an ingredient in Greens Plus, described by Sam Graci as an edible detergent (2 grams per serving) and when I stopped taking Greens Plus I kept on taking Soy Lecithin granules for years (at least 5 grams every day) and I recently switched to Sunflower Lecithin. (at least 5 grams every day) Back in 2019 I had a cardiac arrest and was dead for 20 minutes, I was defibrillated 8 times and spent the next 2 weeks in St. Boniface Hospital while they looked for a reason why that happened, they didn't come up with an answer for why it happened but they did say I was an extraordinary physical specimen beacause of how "cleaned out" I was.

I'm going to try the bile salts, I don't have stones or sludge but the Dr's think my gallbladder isn't working the way it should.
But I don't hurt anywhere in my stomach. I have a burning pain in my mid spine and my ribs hurt on the right side now all the way down from that point on.
I have very bad bloating and distention and no one knows what is going on with me.
Was in the hospital for 2 days with ileus, it's where your intestines quit working but the Dr couldn't understand why mine wasn't working because it's not normal for people to get it unless you have had surgery on your stomach or in a car accident and the seat belt injured the intestines.
So been going through this since mid 2014 to the present. Hope you find out something to help you. I don't know if you have major bloating and distention like me but if you do I know your pain. God bless 💞🙏💞
