@@joshuaevans7614 I never would have recognized him. Thanks. He was Hank Jr’s manager and also opened all of Jr’s shows. Incidentally Merle was a bluegrass fan. I got to know him when he emceed a festival every year for some friends of his. In WI or MN as I recall. The air conditioning was out on our bus and I spent most of the day on his motor home listening to Hank, Hank Jr and Johnny Horton stories. What a day! Great guy.
