oh wow thank you so much! I am so happy to hear you've ordered the book! I've had HEAPS of requests for more color alongs / tutorials for this book, so we'll be doing heaps, and MAYBE EVEN make this my first official project / full color along book! Apart from this page of course.... as I am already half way through haha
Interesting. 2 of my Prussian Green pencils are always breaking. I bought my open stock pencils from mail order art stores and I thought maybe the shipping was rough, but maybe not... Great tutorial as always..thanks
Hi, this is the first time I've watched you. You are so good I've never said that to anyone. I'm new to colouring. I must say I'm scared. I've bought some Prisma pencils. I don't want to colour in my books as yet. Please, any suggestions to start practicing, Without using my colouring books at the moment. I have bought many reams of paper, but could not use my pencils. This week I bought Springhill velum bristol. I tried to make a copy of one of my pages. Wrong size. The paper takes the pencils beautifully.I would like some advice.
Hey ☺️ Thankyou so much for your kind words! I have a playlist up for beginners on my channel - there might be some helpful videos in there for you! I also have a list of my favourite channels on my page who I know also have some fantastic videos for beginners, which will help as well. I'd even suggest getting a few PDF's from the internet and printing them off as practice sheets with your Prismas - you could have those in front of you while you watch the tutorial videos and practice during each lesson? I know that if you sign up to Johanna Basfords mailing list, she will send you a free PDF, so that might be a good place to start as well?
I think the center of the flower word you’re looking for is the STAMEN. I have The Flower Year which has many of the same flowers so this will be very helpful. I also need to learn more about light and shadow, blending and shading. Thank you 🙏🏼
As a beginner colorist and left-hander myself ... I am glad I have found you! Thanks for sharing
You're welcome ☺️ Yes, lefties must unite haha! I also find it much easier watching left handers xxx

Really! I wonder if there's something in the recipe for this particular color that makes them a little more prone to breakage 🧐
