Hello, I am preparing a project, it is about making mats for climbers, they are small mats to clean the climbing shoes of dust and mud before climbing. I have seen carpet weaving machines and they all use soft cotton or similar yarn. Can't you tell me if you can use a harder and more resistant thread like polyester or polypropylene thread?
