Living alone, doesn't mean lonely. I have always loved the quiet solitude, to be able to live every moment the way it feels right. I know it's often very hard to slow down in this busy world, which is why I worked hard these past few years, so I can make this move. Life will never be picture perfect, but the important thing is to notice the small, but beautiful everyday moments. Romanticise brewing yourself a steaming hot cup of coffee. Take a moment to breathe in the smell of that cinnamon roll before the first bite. If we just do everything as a routine, the days will pass by in a blur. I created this channel because I've been inspired for years by my favorite creators to want more out of life, and I hope this channel can be that inspiration for you.

Your beautiful cats! I am the same about my rescue greyhound Madge - I would not want to go away without her, as she is such a sensitive soul. I too live on my own, in a rural spot in West Devon, England. But I do have a couple of neighbors. I do not have a car, and have to get everything I need delivered. But I love the peace and quiet where I live, as no traffic passes. Blessings to you from Jilly and Madge. xxx

What a LOVELY cosy video! And Maple & Luna, soooo sweet! 🧡🩶 I love incense, has a calming effect. Used to work as a Satyananda yoga teacher and sometimes I would have incense if the students approved of it. I know sage (salvia in Swedish) is cleansing, but I've never tried it yet.
I've always disliked New Years Eve because of all the fireworks. When I had my beloved cat we lived in the center of Lund, near university buildings and the students had a big ball with loads of fireworks. I had music on and closed the blinds.
Now our collie Leia is TERRIFIED of the damned banging noises. I wish the bloody things would get totally banned. So much suffering for all kind of animals. Your cottage looks so very 'mysig'! How cool that you've had a crystal shop! 👍

Oh I so agree on the fireworks! So unnecessary, disturbing nature even further just for entertainment purposes.. Even here, I could hear the sound of distant fireworks. I would have thought people whole live around here respected nature more.

I love this video!! Your kitties are as adorable as adorable can be...wow, lil babies🥰🐾❤❤! I cut my hair sometimes too, to save $, and when I'm trying to grow it out. It's curly, so no one can tell anyway. I also figured out to put layers in mine as well. Looks like your NYE was nice! I did my own thing with my little pup too; she's an 8 lb. Pomeranian❤🐕🐾🤗. I am about 50 minutes from Times Square, but chose not to go out in the rain that night. And to find a bathroom? That's a BIG problem there... ugh!

I've had the same issue any time I try to get a fence, trellis, etc to go into the ground and be stable. Either soil too soft so goes in easy but doesn't stay if wind, very windy here, or too hard to go in at all. I've decided only way is to dig holes, stand item up and add cement to base of hole. Haven't tried yet but will in spring.
@@debraburgess2764 yes, cement would definitely be helpful! Although I couldn’t even dig a decent hole because of all the rocks. I’m excited for spring because I’d love to start a little garden! So many things to learn 😊

@@KassieS100 yes, I have two kitties. Luna is more in the videos because he is always, always by my side and he’s extremely curious about everything. Maple usually sleeps through the day and she doesn’t really care what I do, unless she wants cuddles. But then I can’t film because she’s on my lap and yells at me if I dare to move 😄 happy new year to you too!
We also travelled a lot but last yr our elderly kitty started to go downhill and we wouldn’t leave her. And, our pet sitter was a certified vet tech. But, it didn’t matter. We would have worried so much it didn’t make sense. We lost her almost 2 months ago. The loss has been unbearable for my husband and I. We just adopted a 2 1/2 yr old kitty. He has a lot of issues and will take time to trust us. Since we are older, the rescue asked if we made arrangements if something happened to us. Our daughter stepped up and assured them she would. We never would have done it but she told us she would take him. Via hubby’s email.

I’m dreading the days when Luna is older because i know more issues will come up with his health. There’s already so many things.. animals bring us so much joy and so much sorrow. I’m glad you have your daughter who offered to step up, it’s very nice of her. ♥️
Thank you. She didn’t want us to be so sad. We will never forget our Belle. I was the first one to hold her and the last. We had hospice here and she didn’t even know the vet sat down with her. 17 yrs in a long time. She lived longer than our others.
