Ah, try very but not dripping wet and loosely (like a scoop neck collar) fitted around the neck. The dark side of the towel faces the neck/body. Evaporation principles will work to keep you cooler than without the towel. Good luck. Signed a PE/outdoor ed teacher in the southeast (HUMID).
I also bought those for my friends and I while my husband had another brand. We took them to Florida in summer and noticed his stayed cooler longer than our brand.
Hello and thank you for your video. I do have a question for you about the towels. I work as a school bus monitor and have children that have a hard time with the heat. I am wondering if I can prep/freeze these towels and hand out to the children as needed. Thank you for your help! Jessica 😊
Instructions - MACHINE WASH before first use. DO NOT wear this cooling towel UNDER any clothing. Wear it around your head in various styles, NOT under a hat, cap, or visor. Wear it in different styles around the neck, or wrap it around wrists, ankles, elbows, or knees. IF YOU SWEAT A LOT, you must rinse and snap or use a fresh cooling towel until you can rinse the sweat out of the towel(s). SALT in sweat will diminish the effectiveness of the towel. If the towel begins to warm to your body heat and wringing/snapping isn't re-cooling the towel, soak the towel in cool/cold water to refresh the towel. Now the debate should really be between a "sammie" and the "sukeen cooling towel". I prefer the sammie sometimes and the cooling towel other days. Does anyone else care to weigh in?
I have used it multiple times trying different ways. Keeping it opened. Wafting it in the air. Everything. I got literally the same results with a $1 microfiber cloth from the dollar store. I would rather spend the same amount of money on a portable rechargeable fan that actually does the job (check the recent JisuLife video I did in Jamaica), or just grab another microfiber cloth. Thank you for commenting tho!
Generally speaking, I didn’t put it under my clothes. It was on my head, the back of my neck, my face etc. I got the exact same effect using a microfiber towel after I made this video.
@ImOddRob OK. Where I live, it's very dry. That could be the reason it works great for me. Mine lasted approximately 5 hours. It's a mission cooling towel.
@@holyfirepraise Hmm. Maybe! The climate that it's used in could absolutely have an impact. That's something I'll have to check out the next time I'm in a dryer area, which may be soon!
@@ImOddRobYou literally have it under your shirt dude. Leave it flat outside draped around your neck as if the towel had to breathe to evaporative cool.
@@TrickyVickey Yes, in this video it went under my collar. However, when I did more tests -- It sat opened my head (not covered by anything) or on my neck over a t-shirt (again not covered by anything) and it had basically the same results. Using a cheap microfiber towel did the same thing.
In my situation where me and my son just want to stay cool outside playing in the yard when it's hot, we can just swap one for another every 10 mins or so as needed and it wouldn't be that much of a big deal lol. But, for people on a long hike or something who only have 1 and no way to really rehydrate it, I can see how it can be more of a hassle. It really does seem more like a situational product tbh lol.
I wear mine tied around my head. Huge difference. I even sleep with it as it gets hot upstairs. I love it. Florida here.
thank you for the honest review !
i appreciate you being honest.
I try!
Evaporative cooling is great in desert conditions. It does not work in humid areas.
Absolutely.

By chance, do you know which one he had?
Appreciate the honesty
Always best to be honest!
Have you tried using cold or ice cold water instead of room temp?
Thanks Odd Rob 👍🏾
Well thank you 😊
Neato Bazeato! I’m using that one!😊
😂 one of my favorites!

Very helpful! Thank you
I try! I got the Jisulife Neckfan and their portable handheld fan. Both are great!
Great review, thanks

Thank you for the updates.
You need to open it up a bit. Youre rolling it up and keeping it from evaporating. And a washcloth wont work. It wont evaporate quick enough

For your information, your not supposed to put it underneath your clothes. Mine works perfectly.
Generally speaking, I didn’t put it under my clothes. It was on my head, the back of my neck, my face etc. I got the exact same effect using a microfiber towel after I made this video.
