Rebuilding a '94 FD 13B REW

  • Here's one of the more interesting side projects going on around here. A local guy brought this red '94 FD to me with a blown motor hoping I could get it running right again. Unfortunately, that wasn't going to happen without a rebuild, but luckily it's not my first rodeo.

    00:53 ah yes, that's about how my '86.5 FC would run when I could get it to start. Too bad that was 20 years ago, still when no one was willing to or knew how to work on Rotary's to keep them reliable, IE oil injection or 2 stroke.
    BTW, that shirt is great.

    Good work. Stock Fd can be very complex to trouble shoot. I went single turbo back in 2001 and never looked back. I switched to a less laggy turbo in 2015 and have been running 426rwhp reliably. Brap on

      Thanks. I wish we were doing a single turbo build on this one, but the owner wants to keep it bone stock. Mine is single turbo, with all kinds of other mods, and I couldn't be happier with it.
