    Thank you so much for the great instructions! I was putting off taking our Sawzall to the repair shop and I am glad I did!
    Got out stuck blade out in less than 10 min!

    Great, detailed video without wasting time on unimportant drivel! The blade broke off in my saw, and now I know how to get it out without wasting 2-3 hours! Thanks so much :-)

    Great video! The heavy plastic portion of the Sawzall's Blade Clamp assemby had cracked and fallen off allowing the little pin to vibrate outward unlocking the blade. I had the general idea pretty well set in my mind but see this video certainly confirmed my expectations on the scope of the work and allowing me to proceed with more confidence. Many thanks!

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your Video, This Has Helped My Husband a lot. I was getting worried & frustrated because he was banging on his tool & I thought that he might break it. SO I suggested that we look on You Tube & Wallla.. There you were, VERY HELPFUL.. THANK YOU - He told me that the PIN is rusted on his sawzall

    the 14-46-1011 kit wasn't exactly like the quick lock blade clamp that came with my 1997 sawzall, but it went on easily, fit correctly, and works fine. The only difference from the video was the position of the spring. I also recommend testing before placing the retaining ring

    Any tips on changing the shaft? I had a friend buy me the quik lok kit to repair a unit I had in my shop and he also ended up buying the whole new shaft as well. I figure I
    might as well change that too.

    Any thoughts on getting the pin out if it's stuck?

    thank you, I hope it's similar to the hacksall. My blade won't come out.

    do you have a trick for removing the sleeve on a fuel Sawzall? Don't seem to come off easily and I've already taken out the nose.

    what if my blade is stuck in the blade clamp upside down? how do i proceed?

    • @FIXTechGuides
      @FIXTechGuides  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +dj2182 You'll probably need to get some vice grips on the blade and try gently working it out of the clamp. You'll want to take care not todamage the shaft.
