I think I’m going to create my first deck today! Next week is the last week of my semester on outschool and I feel like I’m running out of lesson planning ideas. This will be something new for my kids and maybe something I can sell. Thanks for the inspiration! 🙏🏻

Since TPT has changed the search algorithm, my sales have tanked like so many others, so I’m looking for other marketplaces. I love graphic design, so I’m excited about getting into Boom! I had two questions if you happen to see this comment! 1) Have your Boom sales continued to increase since posting this last year? 2) I have felt that pinning on Pinterest for Tpt has been a waste of time over the past few months. Do you still pin your Boom cards now and do you think it still helps? Thanks for the advice!
Hi Caitlin, Boom sales have started to increase! They are less than half of what I use to make but it pays for the mandatory seller membership and more. Yes, I also pin Boom Cards but I don’t have a clear picture if they work. Pinterest says there are outbound clicks. As much as I like Pinterest, they regularly work on their algorithm which means I need to think more creatively as to how I pin. But sometimes that takes too much time for me.

Hi Pamini, thank you! I know there are many stores that do not have a freebie but I went to some of the larger stores and I do see 2-3 freebies on their stores. All the best with your store!

Hi Liz, finding what people want on Boom takes a bit more work than TpT. You can either check the search menus of TPT or Google to see what people are at least searching. I have a Boom Cards video coming this weekend. I will try to remember to talk about this. Thanks!
I think the prioritizing of new decks is the kiss of death for Boom for me. Your per-hour rate will stay really low that way unless you're able to leverage the TpT search to get people to Boom. I am actually planning on converting my Boom decks back to PowerPoint or Google...
I'm finding that some of my older decks are still selling on Boom, probably due to all the Pinterest Pins promoting them but I'm not 100% sure. Yes, I'm doing some re-purposing of products this summer. We will probably all be in the classroom next year so I'm curious as to sales for Google Slide products.

Those sales were strictly from Boom Learning. I sell a bunch of my decks on TPT and they get more sales over there too.

In the Boom FB group, they have never mentioned reviews as a way to rank, so I would say no.
