🙏🏼❤️🙏❤️🙏🏽❤️🕊️ I've always loved the people and theirs way of life. Yes they have some of the same problems as others people do. But their faith and commitment to the Word of God is a lesson to us all.
Growing up we heated the same way and our house was always warm and no struggles. We had electricity but no running water and no bath room. It was a good way of life with no regrets. The Amish have no secrets about how they heat their homes during the winter months. If one stove cannot heat the whole home a second heater is used. Amish may not have their own super markets but they will go to markets and large stores in town to do some shopping. I am not being rude to you but you need to get educated on Amish ways and life i know pretty dang good. With their way of life they know how to still live a good life and stick to their religion. Snow has never caved one of their well built barns down it is fires that destroy barns from time to time. Some funerals are held in large barns that are clean and neat and you will see rows of lanterns on each side to provide light. Amish hold on to the old order way of life and the Menonites a break away of the Amish believe and live a more modern life style while still keeping the faith. I know a Amish woman who lives close by and she married and outsider and was banished from the Amish community in Indiana where she was born and raised. She was allowed to come back to a funeral but not allowed to stay for the night.
I appreciate your comment and the knowledge you bring about the Amish way of life! It’s always enlightening to learn from someone with personal experience. Your insights really add depth to the conversation!

Nothing but a chicken wing , been off the grid for years
Amish not daft, they stay away from governments. Smart.
