It was a fantastic experience, Bruce was a real gent. He spent a lot of time talking with us and the audience off camera. Filmed at Yorkshire TV in Leeds 1998, just a shame I missed out on the Showcase Showdown by a whisker!
As an American, Bruce Forsyth was Rock and Roll. He hosted HOT STREAK for ABC though there were stories that he was approached by someone from Mark Goodson Productions to do a new version of CARD SHARKS for CBS, he would've been great, given he did PLAY YOUR CARDS RIGHT, the UK CARD SHARKS.
Bruce: A 4! Is there a 4 at the top? DING! Yeeeeeeeah! That was the best cheer Bruce has ever performed after it all came down to the last number of the price of the Treadmill and the Motorbike.
You say that as if bidders here in the States actually know what they're doing, to which I respond "GET REAL!" Most players who 1-up earlier bids do so just to be cool, not competitive. The way contestants are these days, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.
People on the UK price is right don't know how to be cutthroat and cover their opponents' bids. What Tom should of done as the last bidder was say 351 for it cover a larger range of prices that would give him the win.

What an ovation for Bruce at the start.

In Australia to call a man named Bruce "Brucie" is to insult them.
:3 awesome! Glad you won hehe
I see the winner placed his hand on the "Prize Girl"'s arse, he didn't win her.
Not bad!!!

Should've or should have, NOT should of.
