I see you speak English, better for me. Some people (including guides) said it is possible, others recommended a guide. I live a few hours from the Prarayer area (l'm Italian) and one of these days l'll take my dog there and check in person if l can cross the glacier with her or not.
i dont think you need a guide, but it will depend of the weather. I only recommend to go in the summer when yo can cross with normal good boots. I dont know if the dog can walk easily on ice

J'ai parlé cette matin avec un guide. Il as dit qu' el peut aider si je paye 400 Euros.
