Your video is much easier to follow in English. It was hard to read the words and watch what you were doing before. Thank you for changing it. I will now subscribe
ok Grethelis, i did do 2 landscapes with your ideas.. after i loaded up my kiln, and fired away, i went and rewatched Lesson 1 and lesson 2. i used bigger glass, and while it came out ..ok.. i do have some questions?? how big are your molds? and how much glass do u actually use? and at what temp do u do the 2nd fire for both the trees and the high fire post in the back? what do u use for a post? I did spend all morning cutting my glass down, so im not using as much. and do u have a video of that wooden stand..ive been to your site trying to find.. there is no wary that i will steal your show and mass produce them.. Thank u Elaine
Hallo again Elaine 😊 now I have had time to review your questions. 1. size of the recycling mold is 9 cm in circumference. 2. the amount of glass is 130g glass. 3. 1 and 2 burning are both a full fusing of 796˚ and a holding time of 15 min the metal is fired in 2 firings at the same time as the painted trees. 4. the metal is stainless steel and is 2 mm thick 5. The wooden block is a single block I have chosen according to what I think was nice and then you have to remember that the size must be able to keep the glass stable when it is standing. but otherwise you can choose the size and shape you want. You drill a hole in the wooden base so that it fits your metal size and mount it with glue or silicone. but don't make the hole too big so it won't be crooked Hope my answer can help you in your process of creating your own landscape image. It is ok to make a copy for your own use. but if you are making for sale, try to make them with your very own unique expression, it is always the most satisfying. I'm just glad you can use the technique in your own glass art Gretings from Denmark🇩🇰
@@grethelis-glass-artist Thank u!! i usually look at paintings to do my art work, for inspiration.. what i saw u doing was (well to me creating the brush strokes with glass.. that was inspiring to me. my 1st piece came out most beautiful. i didnt use the enamel, i used stringer and medium chunky frit for flowers in the foreground. after 2nd fire the glass spread to 1 inch. the post is/was 2 inches long. (the glass spread past the glass where the post and glass are together, leaving the post exposed on one side) im not sure if option 1 will hold [using a 2 part clear apoxy] , so option 2 is to put back in kiln with another piece of clear to cover the exposed rod on a tack fuse. As for a stand we have Oak Wood. and it is a thick cut. another person i watch is Tabitha's glass emporium. Happy Holy days from Idaho. Elaine
