A manual Renishaw? I've never seen it at a Doosan before. Even the older q-setters are automaticly lowered by pressing the q-setter button, and that q-setter look identical to the ones I've used for the past years... 🤷 Is the motor for it gone bad or..?

You would be correct.. it is a manual pull down tool eye..
They have hydraulic ones and manual pull downs..

@@Blind_Reviews Nice to know. How many times have you pressed the q-setter button on the far right on the panel before you got used to it? 😂

Skipped some important info. You must be in Geo and check if x or z changes.

It usually pops right to that screen on the doosan's I've been running.

I know this video is old, I recently purchased a Lynx 220LSYC.
When I pull down the tool eye the offset page comes up and it automatically selects the tool number which is great but, I am setting up a double sided holder so I have tools on both sides of the tool station.
My dilemma is that I cam not able to select tool offsets other than the selected station, how can I scroll down to probe the backside tool? The scenario I have in mind is this: I am using station 1 and have two tools installed one on the left side for the left spindle and a matching one on the right side for the sub spindle. When I bring the tool eye down it highlights tool offset 1 but I plan on setting the right tool to offset 31. I am not able to scroll down to 31 to use the probe. How can I select offset 31 when using the probe?
Hope that makes sense! Thank you in advance!

This is like 20x slower and more complicated than on a Haas😮

Between my Lynx 220LSYC and my ST-15Y I find that getting used to the work flow I can setup both just about as quickly because you still need to jog the turret down with either.
But I'll take a bit more involved setup for the extra power and notable rigidity of my doosan.
