    On. A TA right now the other way. Flat calm all the way to the Azores, six days. One more flat then on our last sea day has been rough but easy to take something and all is good. Loved every second of it!

      That's awesome to hear! Where did you start from and where is your final destination? I'm curious as to whether you're having rough seas due to location or just regular weather.

    Great video and exceptional musical choices, esp when it got gloomy!

      Thanks! I try to use music to set the mood and since everyone is scared at the thought of a hurricane at sea, well, I couldn’t disappoint them without including some scary music too!

      @@TheEmptyArmchair You must, like me, enjoy a movie soundtrack. Music can enhance a good scene into something epic and you made some inspired choices!

      Absolutely! Right now I’m listening to a lot of the Dune Part 1 soundtrack. Can’t wait for Part 2! Thanks for the kind comments. I spend a lot of time listening to music to add to my videos. I think music is just as important as the pictures.

    I think we’re doing just about the same cruise we leave November 2 question though what was the temperatures like during the crossing?

    • @TheEmptyArmchair
      @TheEmptyArmchair  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The temperatures were actually not too bad. It got warmer the closer we got to the Bahamas. I had the Cruise Compasses posted on Issuu. You can find all the temps on the first page of each day’s Cruise Compasses. Here’s the link: issuu.com/hochmania/docs/wots_cc_sm. Have a fantastic cruise! You’re gonna love it! Don’t forget that the sun will be on the port (left) side of the ship during most of the day on a westbound TA, so if your cabin is on that side it will be warmer than the starboard (right) side.

    Was this video meant to put me to sleep because it was titled like it was supposed to chronicle a horrendous crossing on a ship…I just returned from an Alaskan cruise and we had rougher seas on our voyage!!!

      @@brucemoe9180 LOL! Most people expect a transatlantic crossing to be what you experienced in Alaska (and I have too when we cruised to Alaska in 2008). As you saw, we went during hurricane season and our crossing was pretty smooth. So you just never know what you’re going to get. Thanks for watching!

    I crossed the Atlantic 6 or 8 times. u never know. the whole front end of an aircraft carrier will go under water, no problem

      My dad said the same thing. You never know what the weather will be or how the seas will be. Fingers crossed my big cruise ships don’t experience swells like that!

      That's what's great about cruising. The gentle motion of the ocean beneath you, rocking you to sleep. Now you know how we felt during our transatlantic cruise. Lots of naps!
