great content here- not sure why I'm still on unison's mailing list but I've been getting slammed with their sale ads for drum monkey lately. it's so terrible haha. quite some time back I bought the midi chord pack and it's funny to think that it was gonna be something that I would really benefit from. I've been producing my own music for almost 3yrs so instantly being hit by the false hope that I could understand something, I didn't know too much about yet, in a quick amount of time was such a letdown.
Old video but Drum Monkey Cost the same price as My entire DAW which is Reason 12, which comes with The DAW, the plugin, thousands of samples drum loops, 5 sythersizors, 4 samplers, sevraul players including a drum pattern generater, Pitch edit, audio to to midi, midi to audio and the list goes on, similar story with Abalten or FL studio.
The mail got me there and hell yeah when I saw drum monkey on other producers profile I was like bruh you even need a vst to write drums for you...Then why the hell u even producing!?🥲
I find it pretty helpful to be honest lol. I have been into guitar bass and piano for 2 decades, but never got into drums due to space constraints. Now that I am looking to write drums for all the songs I've been writing (all parts except drums do far), drum monkey is quite helpful in generating those drums for me 👍 and there is actually SO MUCH customization within drum monkey it's pretty nuts But yea, it is too damn pricey lolol Nice video though, 👍 liked and subscribed
Unison the company pisses me off because they flag negative reviews. TH-cam the corporation pisses me off because they allow it. But worst of all, the corrupt, sellout TH-cam influencers that unison pays to lie to their viewers about liking the product are the worst scum in all of music. Respect to you for not selling out.
It's not a terrible plugin it's just way over priced, you can buy an entire DAW for a similar price which often come with maby ways to make beats, just look and the Capabilities of Reason 12 or Abalten 11 and then tell Me that Drum Monkey is good value lol, come on.

Drum Monkey is worth $25 at most as a toy or a sketch pad, nothing more. Subbed! I think it's necessary to have some idea of major chords and minor chords as a basic understanding of the theory of music. I watched that video, I know a website what is torrenting this plugin, even then I don't want to entertain it, I use Superior Drummer 3, what else do i need.
I think we should as a community create a free midi chord pack..every key , every chord and give it away free..triads 7ths etc etc . ..I will do A minor ..you want a free midi chord pack..I got it
Unision midi pack is irrelevant......they are just delaying the process of learning and development of the beginner producer.. unison midi is like playing 6, 4 ,1 ,5 ...on all 12 keys... so why not learn piano for 6 months and build better sounding chords ???

I just load any random drum set and click some steps in the 8 channels without even hearing it, press play and adjust a few things like note length and pitch, make some variations and that's it, a unique beat for nearly every project.
It's funny that if someone speak good on this yall treat people like cancel culture its sad. Imma say this if you have not bought either one or used them you have no RIGHT to say anything. I bought both of them and made a video on my page. They are good 3000 presets you can also add your own... stop the un needed hate... really I don't get it or understand it. If you find peace using pre made midi drums, that’s great bro. Didn’t need their midi pack, I play the keys. And I don’t need pre made midi drums because my fingers work just fine clicking shit in 🤷♂️
