Yo man, that was infuriating to watch. I mean at the gas station when they coulda trapped him they just both pulled up behind him. Its like they wanted him to get away
@@brandongipson-keys3959 its called crossfire, if shit goes down, officers can hit one another, its better to have a long pursuit without incident, than a short one with loss of life, what i don't agree on is that they didn't once try to pit him that whole time, thats the only thing i didn't like about that pursuit, perfect opportunities, no traffic, and they just watched as he went hella fast and dangerous... I know this is an old video, but damn Bugs....you had so many opportunities to shoot the tyres out! Shoot the god damn tyres instead of pointing a gun at the wanted criminal 😂😂😂😂
Ik this is a year old but just to clear this up cops have to do this. There are rules and they can’t just go all out and kill a suspect on sight or something. That would’ve been smart but they can’t do that yet. Another example is a pursuit, the unit would stay behind the suspect unless given permission to perform a pit or something. (At least I’m pretty sure)
@@randomfilms3940 but the only way trapping him would cause him to get killed is if he tries to harm the police officer, in which case the police officer has the right to put him down. Also, do you role play gta? Could you introduce me please?
Evan Staley first of all yes you are right in a GTA stance but in real life a crash could kill someone and in RP we try to be as realistic as possible. And yes Im an officer in gta RP and I would be glad to answer any questions you have.
Bro straight up LET THE MAN drive off a dock, into the water, swim away, and roll back around him and steal a car while he was holding up some bushes!!! LMAO
Bro that first initial encounter, when you told him to stop when he crashed and kept going, that was grounds to let rounds go, there was so many time where shots should of been fired
I think when he pulled the SUV over he should have placed the driver under arrest for his warrants and detained the passengers for further Investigation.
look in some states in a pursuit to be able to shoot tires you need some things to check out he can’t just immediately shoot the tires cuz then the pursuit would end and the crim won’t have fun.
The LSPD and the LSFD has and control on the city’s context why because they have more that they can scan because my dad is in la he is a police he is LAPD

Bruh this episode drove me crazy. Like the guy almost hit buggs and rammed multiple vehicles. And all Buggs does is draw his weapon and tell them to stop. Like really... not even the freaking tires! I would have killed that fucker right when I got the chance.
Just one click of the trigger and that pursuit could've been ended 10 times in the first ten minutes And how did you not know he was heading for the car on Catfish? Most cops would be getting relegated to 'janitor' after that :D
I didn't comment on 'the point of rp', I made a statement . However, the point of RP is to play a role in a world away from your own, and your story can be progressed in any direction you like: sometimes total fantasy, sometimes real life These guys lean towards real life and, in real life, the pursuit could have, should have and would have ended quicker than it did They tend to be longer drawn out for entertainment purposes, which is why they have get outs like code 22, and I don't take issue with that which is why I watch, but it doesn't alter the validity of my comment. That was a long winded way of saying "my comment was not a criticism, just a comment"
@@GioMarron That is true, but their intention was to let the scene play out. If they popped the criminal at the first opportunity the got then, then the player playing the criminal would not have gotten a chance to RP anything at all. The same reasoning applies to other scenes, criminals often choose to run or try to talk their way out of it, rather than just get an easy headshot. The players playing Cops don't shoot at a criminal even if they're brandishing a weapon for the same reason.
Again, not disagreeing with you, nor was I criticising the players. In a more realistic setting, or even with different players, the situation would have unfolded differently. I get why they handled it as they did but despite that, I was yelling at the cops to shoot him. For players who generally seem to get so immersed as crims you fear they're one siren blip from a massive coronary, they show an outstanding level of restraint as a cop. If it was me, a blink would send me into a blind panic where I'd fire every bullet from every gun while impressively missing everyone
Oh yeah, for sure, they definitely showed a bit TOO much restraint here. They should have blocked the car in after the 2nd/3rd time the crim just drove off again. I guess they didn't shoot the tires off because in real life that would be negligent discharge. I guess why they didn't try to hard to restraint him was because they probably thought he was going to get out of the car and make something happen, rather than just driving off without saying a word for the nth time.
