Whyyyy dont people just put a "windsock" over the microphone? You can even just make one yourself and just wrap it around the microphone and just tape it on. I just ordered 5 of the smaller outdoor cctv microphones and im just making my own "windsock" to block the wind. Im not to worried about it getting wet because all my cameras have those little "hood" things on them to cover the lens andd all the cameras are covered by a few inches of the roofs overhang.
Can the dome shaped microphone your reviewed be plugged into the LINE IN of a Amcrest IP4M-1051 camera? Need a microphone that would playback with the video a clear sound, where you could understand what people are saying .
do you make one of the indoor microphones that has a right angle for the mic? Would like to use this style microphone in a homeautomation project for audio input and put it in a small gangbox in the wall, but the depth is pretty long from what i can tell

Irrespective of being Indoor or Outdoor microphone, Can you tell which one has the best audio recording quality? I have that thin black mic install outdoor with my cam, but there is always a sort of low frequency buzzing noise being recorded as well which creates problem when listening to the real thing during playback. Although its less, but its there! My cam and mic are powered through the same power supply rated 12 volts and 1.5 amps. Was just wandering may be installing that white dome shaped mic would solve my problem. Right? Any help will be appreciated alot!
