Venues do pay annual licences to collecting societies for public performance royalties due to the owner of any composition performed.

How I knew these guys knew what they were talking about is when I didn't understand a single thing. If I was a musician I'd never ever want to handle that background stuff that's headache, is it possible to have a refresh by another person to see if this concept of business is explained abit more. I totally didn't understand. I heard ipos lawyers the only familiar term was royalties.
Lastly if someone is their own manager and not under a label
