Why do you say it has a rosewood fingerboard in the description if it's supposed the Silver Sunburst and the Vintage Black are the only LTD EC-1000 with an EBONY FINGERBOARD????
@owlsrfun47 im not saying that these artist arent expressing themselves, its just that i dont really hear anything unique, but youre right in the fact that a musicians can do whatever their hearts desire, i think i was just coming off as ignorant, which i personally cant stand, but hey, if you like the styles of music that i dont then more power to you, who am i to say whats good and what sucks

Question about this guitar, I just bought an EC-1000T Olympic White but I just recently found out that there is an EC-1000 SSB in my local store, I've always wanted the SSB rather than the Olympic White. Can you tell me the difference between EC-1000T to Just EC-1000 other than the thickness of the body and the finish. Sound wise, is there any difference?
I think ESP/LTD chose that silver sunburst to look similar to the Gibsons used by Adam Jones of Tool. They would be better off using the color combinations used in the LTD 401 lines.

@mario4526 it cant be all about metal, the worst thing a musician can do is stick to just one style of music, i lik metal, but i like rock, blues, jazz, basically anything other than rap
@Seraphim777961 yeah man i get where your comeing from i listen to lots of diff styles of music but i play the syle that i could express my self the most and metal/hardcore lets me do that i tried playing diff styles and i respect them all but there just not that exciting for me.your not limited with metal at all you could go from playing heavey shit to playing clean melodic stuff in jazz or blues you cant do that its one tone all the time check out the band volumes amazing band....

Nice demo. I swear I've seen some of these Silverburst ESPs with BLACK sides & back.
The Ibanez neck is much thinner from a depth standpoint, but a bit wider. I would call the neck on the ESP is a little more of a standard neck.
@PeterMilenk The guitar's designed for you to reach the upper frets because it's a single cutaway. :D
yes though i must say that the ec-1000 is definitely a very comfortable guitar and i suppose that might help.. maybe.
@gilly90 Thats right -- my mistake, I like that set up better then the 81/85 combo.
@purplepineapple117 All the EC1000 have a 42mm nut. The Will Adler model has a 45mm nut.

Is their a ESP ec1000 that has a 43mm or 44mm nut? I mostly play acoustic so I would like to still be able to play some open positions.

I like the color and feel that's what makes it an attractive guitar.
@TheSlothattack A#/b flat is the same thing its just that more pepole say A# yeah it is low but there is lower tunings than this
