I was in my early 30's when I first heard McGee on Through The Bible San Marcos Ca.1980 there about. I loved that old preacher.......... he was, and is the best......just hearing his voice brings clam to my soul, I'm now the one with cancer. 75.... I just need to hear him speaking and I get the feeling things are alright. it's better when you have some like Dr. J Veron McGee about you.....................
Thank you for letting me eavesdrop. I have often wondered after all these years what you both look like. Your voices are easy and reassured listening each morning along with Dr. McGee as you get us ready to go Thorough the Bible for the 4th trip. Gregg and Steve you guys are one part of the best ways to start each day. The others are reading those emails each morning then praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. What a privilege it is to do this. The other is relaxing as Dr. McGee takes the wheel for my spirit filled ride on the bible bus. I wouldn't want anyone else driving me home. It's great knowing others are doing the same because this is what Christ wants us to do and to pass it on.
I am so very thankful for this program, for these men, and mostly for the Lord, who brought me to a saving faith by His grace alone through the power of His Word and the power of the Holy Spirit!
Dr. McGee has taught me the importance of living for Christ & how very important reading & studying God's word is. I've only known Dr. McGee for a few years now but, I look forward to hearing him every day. I too didn't know he had passed away for some time. I didn't realize all of his messages & studies were recordings so when I found out I was truly amazed to learn about his life. He has such a beautiful heart & is someone I've come to greatly appreciate & admire. I didn't have a father or grandfather in my life so I've adopted Dr. McGee to be mine. I'm so grateful for this ministry & I pray for each of those who carry on his teachings. This ministry has greatly impacted my life & so many others. Thank you and God bless.
I discovered Vernon Mcgee while sitting in LA traffic around 2014 or so. I would time my departure from home so that I would be able to listen to the radio show on my commute to work. I was baptized in 2017 and have been reading the Bible since. I'm reading cover to cover and I hope to finish reading the Bible, for my first time, this year! I listen to Dr. Mcgee's studies along the way as I read through the Bible. I tell everyone that he is my teacher. I had never read the Bible and can't believe that I'm so close to finishing it. I just started 1 Corinthians early this morning and am getting closer and closer to Revelations. Thank you God; I could not have done this without You.
My husband and I visited the Thru the Bible location in Pasadena location a couple of years ago. It was delightful visit and tour of their location. We met with all of their support staff and they gratefully gave us tour of their small location. We had hoped to meet with Steve and Greg but were told they work out of another studio or location in the San Gabriel Valley. We were indeed fortunate and blessed to see their inner workings. We have been traveling on the Bible Bus for many, many years. They are one few organizations that go thru the Bible from cover to cover. We have learned much, thank God. God bless them all. The work of the Gospel goes on.
Back in 1975 while stationed at Camp Pendleton I first heard Thru the Bible Radio, I have gone through the program at least twice in my life, most of my doctrine views are from what I learned from the teachings of McGee. Thru The Bible Radio is where my Biblical foundation started, I have read thru the my Bible many times over the years, each time learning something new, While I do not listen to your program every day anymore as I did in my early years, I"m now going thru the Bible 5 volume book set. and may start listening daily again to refresh what I have forgotten, Thank you for your ministry.
Thank you also! I finally get to see Gregg and Steve in real life talking and at least now I will see them in my minds eye when I hear them Monday thru Friday! I am learning so much and you guys are my church since the BUG came along. My church is shut down but God's Word is not! Thank you Gregg and Steve for sharing Dr. McGee's teach of Jesus daily! TTB was so important to me years ago when I first became a believer. The straightforward style helped me so much. I've learned from Dr. McGee's information in my teaching for years and still use it to prepare for my lessons today. Thank you guys so much for staying the course and keeping to his original vision.
I've often wondered what goes on in the studio. I also when I first started listening to Dr. Mcgee wasn't aware he had passed a long time ago. I've been blessed by his teachings.
