@@Min4Mass That turn is easy to take in a z. Zs can handle quite a bit as they were designed for cornering and drifting. Must have to be able to do research to know that though.
This car is amazing I really love the design and performance as is. But with the amount of engineering that went into this car I think it deserved to have had at least a little better numbers for hp and torque.
I think it's just that it is slow enough to drive hard on the road without breaking the speed limit. I used to do the same with my 2000 V6 mustang. The 19 year old mustang had a lot more torque so I am sure you can push the engine on this one more up hills.
I have a question. You know how there’s like a digital dyno on the gauge cluster? If you have it tuned/modified would the lines in the dyno change as well?
Literally every single person in these comment sections that say it's too expensive for 200hp has no idea how inflation works. A Nissan 240sx was 24k in 1998, which would be 37k in today's money. So no, it's not too expensive. For it's current price you get a more than serviceable chassis, an engine that puts out 100hp per liter, and a great driving feel. You can't put a price on driving feel, nor can you mod it in effectively.

I love the BRZ, it looks fantastic, quite aesthetic... a real sport car, however it's slow, it doesn't feel as strong, and quick as a turbo car would feel with the same amount of hp... I think that an addition torque and 100hp could make this car better.

maybe u have to look at the year to.. as for the price... 2018 , but still seems like alot tho, i know some wrxs and STis that are around the same price maybe a tad lower and they are also 2018s 2016s etc,

As someone else mentioned, $33k for 205hp with a 4-cylinder is asking way too much. So many better performance options on the used market for around the same price that are still practically new (Mustang GT, M235i, WRX STI, 370z (even a nismo) & more). For me, I'd rather go with one of those options. Great video as usual though!
Outdoor Layne wdym the z is terrible in that department I have a nismo and I literally smoked a brz in 4th gear while he was in second plus my handling is much better with the nismo package
I have a 2019 86 as my first manual. Is it a good idea to rev all the way up to 7,000rpm? I usually stay around 3,000 - 4,000rpm cuz I don't wanna hurt my engine. What should I be aware of beforehand? Should I use a thicker oil or something?
Just make sure your temperature gauge is in the middle, and don't hold it at redline for a long time (like leaving it bouncing off the rev limiter for ages). Don't drive it hard when it's cold and you'll be fine.
Depending on where you live, if you live in us we don't get the 86, but the BRZ and FRS, if you want a car that has comfy suspension and a nice interior the BRZ is the way to go. But if you want a funner car to drive its the FRS, i think the 86 is the same as FRS
no fog light no buy! haha for reals though I love the look of fog lights and really wish they would have kept it for the tS which is why I went for the limited trim instead.
Daniel Masterson on my FRS i noticed the fog lights are a waste. Imma switch them out and put LED projector foglights because these hallogen ones are not good at all.

Redline is 7,400. Shifting at 7k is safe for the motor (synchros don’t like it much though)
