Lots of hate for this bar, lol. This was made very early on in the introduction of LED warning lights. The offset patterns bugged me and it was tough to like a replacement for the Millennium. Once I got my hands on a Galaxy, I appreciated the engineering that went into it. I really like the first generation 911EP stuff but glad I got my hands on this bar in such good condition too.

That bar has absolutely no character.

One of the worst lightbars ever made. Leaked like a sieve, basic flash patterns, and was expensive. I've said it before, this was a massive downward step from the millennium. Why wouldn't 911EP just do upgrades to the millennium instead of two lightbars and close shop?

@GCHG2014 The individual components were weatherized including connectors and flashers so no real need to keep water out. It was nice in a way because if one head leaked or was damaged it didn't have the potential to wreck the other components. Whelen LED products were plagued with moisture issues so it was not all that uncommon. I have always loved the first genefation 911EP lights like the millennium. They introduced us to LED lighting, just too bad that when they sold out to Soundoff, 911EP was discontinued.

@@MsLightbar Let me correct something here, they never sold to Sound Off Signal, they gave them a 4 year marketing agreement only. All SOS wanted was customer base and engineering property.

@tomweber8483 what happened after that? Armor took them to Florida. I dont believe Soundoff ever made any 911EP stuff and Armor was the last to produce any equipment. Pretty sure BAE now holds the rights.

@@MsLightbar No this was from armor Holdings wanting out after the lawsuits were completed. SOS walked away from several state contracts that they could have serviced with 911ep product for as long as 3 more years. AHI cancelled it after SOS didn't fullfill it. But the damage was to late with them having company information
