I have been watching smart watch reviews on youtube for a week and your review is the only one that I can make a decision base on what you have show here. I have even learned things I didn't know the watch can do. So, thank you so very much for sharing.
I got this for £5.85 on ebay uk for use with my Samsung Galaxy a20e, surprise surprise it works well and the battery lasted for 3weeks before it needs a recharge. I only wish i could change the watch face colour. It also tracks tour steps and vibrates when you have a text.

I would doubt it as to achieve accuracy you would need a device that factors in many things about you, like gender, height, weight, lifestyle, metabolism, etc. It's a $10 toy.
I want to use this watch just as a clock not as smartphone watch so there is a way to disable functions I don't want to use? Is there any profit in time if I am able to disable this functions or the battery consumption is the same? I see also tWo answers about battery life before. the one says using time 5 days and the other 1 day hardly
If all you are after is time, you might want to check Walmart for a cheap digital watch. You can try and disable some functions like alarms and sedentary reminders in the tethering app, but I don't know how much it will save you for battery life.
I think you're right on that because they have temporarily lowered the price to the same price as the coupon. When they raise the price the coupon should work to keep it at $9.99. For now, you don't need a coupon to get that price. Enjoy!
I haven't tested the watches for SIM, so I don't know which is better. All Android smartwatches support SIM and the newer ones support 4G, too, so check Android smartwatches.
One thing you didn't warn buyers about is that the app to control the watch a Chinese fishing expedition to access every bit of data and info on your phone. You don't have any control of the features without the app.
If you're old enough not to swallow it, then you can probably use it just fine. You may need help tethering it to a phone and setting things up, but if you've grown up with iPads and smartphones since you were 4, you probably can do all these things at 12. This is a grid starter watch.
I am having difficulties pairing my Huawei H1711 to this smartwatch. I downloaded the app on my smartphone, the Search shows the active "waves" but nothing is appearing on the smartwatch. I can access the main menu options on the smartwatch; scrolling to the photo with the watch+phone (I presume means to pair) it states to Long Press...while pressing the lower area of the watch, the watch leaves the menu and "goes to sleep mode". Is it defective ... or just that I don't understand the long press process? (Is that an iPhone term? I am not an Apple nor Samsung fan, BTW.)

The original name from the manufacturers us ID116, it is acurate, i test. It compare to medical device, sis is a doctor (some are not accurate, but not all), it scratches

@@SWT I actually found out my watch is a D13, not a 116 plus. As far as I know the hardware is almost identical but there are some differences in the software. The seller DID advertise it as a 116 plus watch though. But the 116 plus is most likely fake too. The easiest way to check is just run the heart rate monitor without wearing the watch. You will see it just generates a random number from thin air. Well the watch was only £6, didn't really expect it to be functional anyways lol, but it works for me.
Yes, I could fill a bathtub, but they all aren't waterproof, so I won't. I don't give them away or sell them as I collect them and sometimes use them in other videos.
Look for IP67 or IP68 in the title or specs to learn if you can get the watch wet. If it says 5ATM, then you can probably swim with it without a problem, too.
No idea. Don't test for that. After the review it's back in the box while I prepare the next one for review. Check the comments, as some viewers take the time to report their experiences for us.
When you are tethered to your phone and with the phone on WiFi, the firmware update should start automatically. If not, look for a place in the app where you can check the firmware version.

Yes, April, for $10 it's more of a sampler watch, like the chocolate sample they give you in the candy store. I suggest you use it to see if you like wearing a smartwatch and then, if the answer is yes, figure out what features you like and what you don't need for buying a more expensive, 'daily driver' watch you'll want to wear all the time. Obviously, something with a better battery will be on your list. Thanks for your report.
The straps are very unique and molded to fit over the extended tips of the watch body, so you would need to order other colors of the same band (if they are sold separately) to be able to change to something different.

Be careful buying these 'smart' watches, most of them are junk. I ordered another one and it wont let me change the brightness, can barely see the screen and cant change the date/time settings. I'm trying to use it with my motorola android phone. That doesnt work either, although the instructions say it will. JUNK!!
That's true of these older watches and bands, but the newer ones out since the middle of 2019 or so have very bright screens. Also, a little reminder that this is a $10 watch. Don't know if "you get what you pay for" applies here, but it's definitely not going to be a bright AMOLED screen.
Badminton? Badminton?!? Be honest, how many years ago was it that you actually saw anyone playing Badminton? Much less so doing so as a recognized athletic benefiting activity. Walking, running, cycling, swimming, perhaps even climbing, but badminton? Why not include horseshoes, bocce ball, and piñata smashing as well?
Awhile back there was a competition to have the most sports included in a watch (something like 36 of them) and we had things like yoga and meditation as activities! Then along came one company with the event "loving", showing a man and a woman smiling at each other in a 'special' kind of way. After that, it seems most watch vendors backed off to the classic activities with a few odd - but not racy - additions. Personally, I'd love to see a watch calculate the true baseline metabolism for an individual (since, as I have read, some 70% of calories burned come from that resting metabolism). I want to see a watch that can assess calories burned by being worn consistently over a week or two, then derive the true base metabolism from while you are asleep (in combination with the sleep monitoring) compared with activity when you are awake. Knowing the baseline metabolism accurately could allow each of us to modify our diet or behavior and see what affect those changes have on our long term health. Would walking three times a week for 30 minutes really change our baseline metabolism compared to a sedentary lifestyle? Somehow scientists appear to be able to compute this magical figure of baseline metabolism. Isn't it about time (like that reference?) for a smartwatch to do it too? If the y ever tackle that one and succeed, I swear, I'll take up badminton.

At a minimum I believe it would be great for anyone "contemplating" buying an Apple Watch and not sure if they will really want to wear the darn thing. This is about the same size, weight, and feel, which is why I claim it's a great "beginner's watch". It can also make a fun toy for a youngster to enjoy as a first smartwatch. So if it does last just a week, it still can serve a purpose for many people. But I think it will last a lot longer. Bet ya ten bucks! Just kidding.

I haven't tested the watches for SIM, so I don't know which is better. All Android smartwatches support SIM and the newer ones support 4G, too, so check Android smartwatches.

This is about the same size, weight, and feel, which is why I claim it's a great "beginner's watch". It can also make a fun toy for a youngster to enjoy as a first smartwatch. So if it does last just a week, it still can serve a purpose for many people. But I think it will last a lot longer. Bet ya ten bucks! Just kidding.
