This rap by Team Mayfly used paint as a metaphor for all the "colors" of the world (meaning all of the skin colors, all of the cultures and all of the unique and beautiful people of the world) and sang about how they should be celebrated instead of letting racism and other ugly things divide us.
Such a great message, and such a great collaboration!
The sad thing is most SoKors are kinda racist against other races, particularly southeast asians

The Kingdom competition was a complete culture shock to me. I watched it at the time because I was a fairly new Stay and wanted to see SKZ perform live, but I grew up hating western competition shows, and was expecting Kingdom to be more like them. You know, in western competition shows, the rivalry is usually mean-spirited, with contestants putting each other down in interviews and acting like bitter enemies.
But this show was amazing! There's competition, but all the groups were respectful, friendly, happy for each other's wins and sorry for each other's losses. Felix even spent a huge amount of money and time to personally bake cookies for all the artists and staff when the challenges were becoming more stressful.

Project Mayfly was the most temporary supergroup, and yes, it still holds up. You should look up the vocal unit doing IU's "Love Poem". It's GORGEOUS. Just Jongho (ATEEZ), Seungmin (Stray Kids) and Eunkwang (BTOB). They all bring something different, but it WORKS so well. I can't listen to it without tearing up.
I love the backstage where everyone is going off and are all hyped up. They really cheer for each other. Great song, great message.
Best part about kingdom was all teams genuinely appreciating and hyping up each other's performances, specially in collab stages, regardless of whether it was their team of one their competing against!!!!!!
Mayfly will forever be the most precious thing to happen on kingdom! i hope you watch the other 2 performances of wolf and love poem, both are mind blowing!
There was just something so magical about Team Mayfly...
This was during a time when (in my eyes) when many labels didn't like for their groups to interact much, perhaps because fanbases can be so toxic, or because the labels themselves are so competitive; but this Kingdom series proved that not only could that work well together, they could truly bring in new groups to each Idol group with these interactions and group performances. This was also during Covid times so fan interactions were harder to bring in cold... so when you offer to many different groups and styles into one, it just really seemed to become 'more'.
Nowadays it's such fanfare when two different groups/members collab for tiktok/dance challenges etc... it's just so fun! I like to think that this was the beginning of such activities (at least it was for me).

I don’t think Bobby is nervous. He did not give a f about the competition he was just there to have fun lmao Btw Bobby won Show Me The Money. He was the first idol rapper to win the show and he made korean rappers respect idols. It is a competition show of rappers. Bobby has proven himself as one of the best rappers in the industry. If you stop someone in the streets in Korea and ask if they know Bobby they’d 100% know him. While some other groups are not popular in Korea but internationally popular.
Bobby is a phenomenal rapper. I loved FULL DASH and wish Mayfly and It's One could have both won the rap part of Kingdom.
Mayfly was such an amazing collaboration. You could just tell watching the show that all the groups really respected each other and their contributions. No wonder all three performances turned out so legendary. I can't even count the number of times I've listened to Love Poem, (the vocal unit performance).

I started watching Kingdom because of Stray Kids and now I watch all of it over and over. I know certain groups won certain stages etc but I think the true winners were the fans, new and existing. It was a great platform to show their talents to us. I also listen to a lot of Ateez and SF9 because of that competition.

Round 3 "No Limit" - For this competition the kids were separated into ‘units’ - rap, vocal & dance. ‘Mayfly’ consisted of the groups Ateez, BTOB & Stray Kids. Their rap division had five rappers - one ea. from Ateez & BTOB, then the three from Stray Kids that are the 3Ratcha.rap members. The other unit’s merged group, named ‘It’s One’ were IKON, The Boyz & SF9. Their rap unit had one member each from those three groups. Both songs, Full DaSH & Colours, were originals, taylor-made for the show.
You should react to Love Poem in Kingdom. Seungmin voice was so beautiful 🤩

Ngl bobby was not worried, he was by far the best rapper in the show though he did not care at all about truly winning it. He is in the top3 best kpop rappers and is a absolute beast.

This was by far one of my favorite Kingdom performances because they all mesh well together and had the best time making this track.
Aaahhhh you saw Mayfly!!! Man, this is such an amazing piece of art! It slaps so hard musically, but the message slaps just as hard. Absolutely fantastic. And yes, the other team was nervous. With right. Mayfly ruled kingdom.

It is unfortunate that the actual K-Pop group "Kingdom" is missed so often on TH-cam because of the competition "Kingdom: Legendary War". I'd recommend a look, but it might take a bit of sorting to weed out this competition first.

Not going to lie, this was my least favourite performance on kingdom. They did amazing the song just isn’t my taste. Love poem was arguably the best performance ever seen on kingdom ever.
I also can’t un hear “Rick and Morty” at every chorus 😩🤣
